We purchased this product specifically to use for QBRs and EPRs with our clients, but it has never functioned as intended. Despite reaching out for support from both our sales representative and others, we were unable to get it working. Three months in, we requested to terminate the contract and upgrade our Lifecycle Insights plan, but were denied, even though we had not been able to get the product operational. The sales person claimed he was unaware that we were a telecom and IT company, which was surprising since 'TEL' is part of our company name. The implementation process on Manage was also very poor, which contributed to our inability to use the product properly. As a company that manages phone systems, we were advised to 'just put phones in under printer,' even though we couldn't update the name, which made the solution unworkable for our needs. Unfortunately, the product has never worked for our team, so I am dissatisfied with both the entire product and the sales and leadership team behind it. I was looking to address the challenge of standardizing our performance review process, but unfortunately, this product has not delivered as promised. It does not function as intended or as it was presented to us, so it has not provided any real benefit. If you upgrade assets due to a mistake with the synchronization on your RMM, they won't lower the endpoints. The interface is difficult to navigate. Customer service is the worst. Reporting was a major value add, however the value ended there. Warranty was promoted as a similar approach as OEM but this was not the case. They work more like an insurance company as they make money by how often they don't service a device. In addition, they solf this service as a 24 hour turn around time however, when you need them, they state industry shortages and major delays. They should update this in their SLA. I was also promised a $300 credit that I am not able to use. I have been lied to time after time with no way to escalate. This is not a misunderstanding of policy or fine print either. I have cancelled my renewal and will never use this company again. I would recommend you stay away. There are other ways to get this service without the painful customer experience. The ScalePad dashboard is handy. It displays all of your client's hardware details in one interface, showing brand, model, purchase date, warranty status, serial number and other useful data for most major manufacturers. After being with ScalePad for 16 months, I've made a grand total of three warranty claims, all on workstations with the Next Business Day warranty coverage purchased through ScalePad. The first claim was fulfilled in three weeks, the second claim in two weeks and the third in 10 days. Fortunately, I was able to learn this about ScalePad on workstation issues and not with issues involving servers in critical roles. A day or two delay due to availability is not unheard of, but the time frames I experienced with every claim were just unacceptable. And after three such delays in a row, it seems that ScalePad's insistence that such delays are unusual for them is untrue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
