ControlMap provides the framework to tackle the large task of becoming ISO 27001 compliant. How do you eat an elephant? One bite at time and I find ControlMap to help us divide all the work that is needed into manageable chunks. And after seeking proposals from multiple vendors, which was based on features/funcationality/user experience and price, we found this to be the best of all elements. This is a younger version of other providers, so occasionally you find something that seems off. Our representatives have been good to work with and help us through any issues, all of which have been minor so far. Also - you can generally get to a destination (i.e. a Control) via different routes (e.g. the framework overview, the Risk register, etc..), but sometimes that step is not always intuitive. What I like about ControlMap is that we use ControlMap to help manage workflows. One thing I like about ControlMap is its ability to break down complex processes into simple, understandable diagrams. ControlMap has a robust tool to help prepare for a SOC 2 audit that ensures coverage of all key areas, enables integration of automated systems, serves as a policy and evidence repository if needed, and facilitates immediate ramp-up. You can be sure that the compliance is done in a simple way, and your opinion is heard and accounted for when the new versions of the software come out. ControlMap is a fairly new player in the compliance field, it doesn't have ALL the bells and whistles of an enterprise software that has been around for much longer. But I must admit that where they stand after this short period of time, how their business is structured, and how they address customer issues is one of those "take over by providing better service" things, which is a winning strategy in any business. ControlMap is an easy-to-use tool for capturing the necessary controls and evidence related to Cybersecurity Frameworks. Its ability to work with the most relevant frameworks allows the practitioner to ensure that the correct information can be captured, audited, and reviewed when necessary. The least helpfull feature of ControlMap is its evidence upload section, which I feel can be made much more simpler. We can improve this very easily by creating a collection of evidence and start mapping it to the controls in the standards assessments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's easy to get started specially for startups. Team was helpful in explaining how to use all the policies . It was integrated well with AWS and Google workspaces . That's what we needed for most of our audit purposes Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
