Previously, we were utilizing a handful of disparate solutions to provide these functions within our GRC program. Now our Risk Management Program is housed in a single platform, allowing for easier administration, navigation, and linking of information between policy, control mapping, evidence gathering, and risk treatment. **What do you dislike about ScalePad ControlMap?** The SSO login experience if you're using both the MSP platform and a tenant for your organization does not function properly. For that reason, we needed to configure our GRC team as members of the MSP tenant as well as our organizational tenant in order to get them into the platform after working with support. **What problems is ScalePad ControlMap solving and how is that benefiting you?** Being able to solve all of our GRC needs with a single platform has been the largest benefit to our GRC program. Prior, we were utilizing a number of disparate solutions to accomplish these goals, leading to lost time and mulitiple verisions of "the truth" in our documentation throughout our on-premise and cloud ecosystems. ControlMap has allowed us to pull all of these functions into a single platform with easy-to-use crosswalking of documentation and control assessments to meet our SOC2, NIST CSF, and CMMC needs. ### 5. It offers over 50 framworks that cross-walk to each other. This saves a lot of time when having multiple compliance regulations regarding the questionaires. I like it has built in policy and procedure templates and a great documnet repository with approval process and version control. The Audit feature is nice for any self attestation or 3rd party audits like SOC2 or CMMC. They are always adding more features recommended by their customers if they fit. Also, they offer free training and workshops with support. The integration feature has secure API's for the most common vendors and cloud apps. **What do you dislike about ScalePad ControlMap?** Nothing so far. There is not too much ceremony needed to get the job done. When I first used it, I wasn't exactly sure what needed to be done, but once I became familiar it became quite easy to use. **What do you dislike about ScalePad ControlMap?** The software is a bit slow. This is frustrating when going through and reading and acknowledging a long list of documents, becuase you have to run into the slowness many times. The auth flow is a bit weird. It seems that it does not support integrating with Okta so we cannot use our normal SSO. Additionally, when logging in with Google, it redirects you many times and shows tiny text on the screen saying (you are about to be redirected) a few times which all seems somewhat unnecessary and unprofessional. **What problems is ScalePad ControlMap solving and how is that benefiting you?** ControlMap provides a centralized solution for acknowledging company policies and other security measures. ### 7. We would not be able to provide Compliance readiness assistance without it. When selecting a venor, ControlMap seemed to be ahead of the game in the important areas. I hope ScalePad does not turn into the next Kasaya. How do you eat an elephant? One bite at time and I find ControlMap to help us divide all the work that is needed into manageable chunks. And after seeking proposals from multiple vendors, which was based on features/funcationality/user experience and price, we found this to be the best of all elements. Now that we have been using ControlMap for six months, we are pleased with the experience and price. **What do you dislike about ScalePad ControlMap?** This is a younger version of other providers, so occasionally you find something that seems off. Our representatives have been good to work with and help us through any issues, all of which have been minor so far. Also - you can generally get to a destination (i.e. a Control) via different routes (e.g. the framework overview, the Risk register, etc..), but sometimes that step is not always intuitive. **What problems is ScalePad ControlMap solving and how is that benefiting you?** We selected the ISO 27001 as our framework. The hardest part about compliance is its complexity. ControlMap cuts right through it. The team is very experienced and doing it the right way. **What do you dislike about ScalePad ControlMap?** ControlMap is a fairly new player in the compliance field, it doesn't have ALL the bells and whistles of an enterprise software that has been around for much longer. But I must admit that where they stand after this short period of time, how their business is structured, and how they address customer issues is one of those "take over by providing better service" things, which is a winning strategy in any business. **What problems is ScalePad ControlMap solving and how is that benefiting you?** ControlMap has tons of features. For example, it provides you a set of simple policies, controls, and evidence tasks under multiple compliance frameworks. You don't need to read vast walls of text, it is slim, and it works. The team is so openminded about feedback, they really consider developing features that in turn benefit us and I am sure their many customers. Automation is another thing, they have many useful integratinos, which save time. One of my favourite parts is how vendor management is done, certain things we requested were already deep in the works, and that is because they listened to other customers before us, and boom, we got a function which helps us. ### 27.
