**What do you like best about ScaleOps?**

The best part of ScaleOps is its dynamic resource optimization. It automatically adjusts workloads based on real usage, which significantly reduces over-provisioning and cuts costs without risking stability.

**What do you dislike about ScaleOps?**

“In some scenarios with sudden traffic spikes, we’ve noticed that adjustments can take a little time to fully catch up. It would be great to see even faster responsiveness in those edge cases. Additionally, we’re still exploring the full feature set, so there may be opportunities for us to leverage more of its capabilities to maximize the benefits.

**What problems is ScaleOps solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ScaleOps solves this by dynamically adjusting resource reservations based on actual usage patterns and historical data. This has significantly reduced wasted resources, improved cluster efficiency, and lowered infrastructure costs while maintaining application stability.

**What do you like best about ScaleOps?**

While Kubernetes now supports native vertical pod autoscaling, it's very helpful to have a proper UI with dashboards and being able to search through the entire workloads.
The built-in policies works perfect for most of the cases.
The error and warning indicators in "Node Management" and "Pods Rightsizing" help us to find infrastructure issues.

**What do you dislike about ScaleOps?**

It gets really slow when working against large EKS cluster (800 Nodes).
When aggregation 10+ clusters, indexing also get slow.
Would love more examples or clearer descriptions on configurable parameters in policies, etc.

**What problems is ScaleOps solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us to drastically reduce compute cost across our development and production Kubernetes clusters.
We can assign high default resources for our services, and optimize them over time by actually looking at the collected usage data, while keeping the costs low even in the optimization period.
For our large Kuberenets environments with clusters with more than 800 nodes, we can let ScaleOps manage VPA of almost all of the workloads.
We also benefit a lot from the UI and dashboards with the insights and cost data that we can collect.

**What do you like best about ScaleOps?**

ScaleOps has been a game changer for managing our cloud resources efficiently. The platform provides clear visibility into cluster performance and resource utilization, helping us optimize workloads automatically without constant manual intervention. I especially appreciate how seamless it is and how intuitive the UI is — you can immediately see where savings are coming from. The automation features around scaling and right-sizing save both time and cost, and the reporting insights make it easy to communicate value to stakeholders. Overall, it simplifies complex cloud optimization into something actionable and easy to manage.

**What do you dislike about ScaleOps?**

There’s very little to dislike. Occasionally, the recommendations can take a bit of time to refresh after major configuration changes.

**What problems is ScaleOps solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ScaleOps helps us tackle one of the biggest challenges in cloud operations — maintaining performance while controlling costs. Before using it, we spent a lot of time manually right-sizing workloads, tracking utilization, and managing scaling policies across environments. ScaleOps automates that entire process, ensuring our clusters scale efficiently based on real usage rather than static assumptions.

The biggest benefits have been cost savings, reduced operational overhead, and increased reliability. We no longer need to overprovision resources “just in case,” and we have far better visibility into when and why workloads are scaling. It’s also improved collaboration between our FinOps and DevOps teams by providing a shared, data-driven view of cloud efficiency.

**What do you like best about ScaleOps?**

It does what it needs to be done - it saves money :)
It also nice to have the dashboards and monitoring tools even though its not what it meant to be from my point of view.

We use if in a few "low" environment and didn't face any major issues.
Once implemented, its really easy to use and control.

**What do you dislike about ScaleOps?**

We had some performance issues while using Scaleops in our production environment causing us to partly disabling it and losing trust in the product.

The configuration can be easier to control.

**What problems is ScaleOps solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It optimizing our EKS cluster and saves cost while maintaining good performance

The auto right-sizing works and saves us money constantly.
There is a very friendly approach by the tech and customer care departments.

**What do you dislike about ScaleOps?**

There are still many features missing, most of them related to observability.
Loading graphs for extended periods, like 2 weeks or 30 days, can take time.

**What problems is ScaleOps solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem it's solving: needs to define the correct request per micro service.
Before ScalOps, many of the services were over-provisioned.

CostReports fills like incomplete and it's not possible compare with previous months.. even on performance to decide best requests.

they improved my finops objetives during requests optimization on my cluster.

ScaleOps is by far the most feature rich rightsizing solution available for Kubernetes. The team anticipates needs and releases powerful and fully baked features month after month. The tool is robust and comprehensive and is lacking nothing.

**What do you dislike about ScaleOps?**

I have no complaints. The UI was sluggish, but the ScaleOps team iterates at lightspeed and has released improvement after improvement.

**What problems is ScaleOps solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ScaleOps allows us to reduce our cluster costs by over 50% and avoid managing resource requests in most of our clusters

API docs - when we want to automate there was a lack of enough API and UI was kind of slow.

when we started container journey we kind of overprovisioned our services, with scaleops we could control it.
