**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

As with all things new, there isn't a formal template to give content stakeholders to easily facilitate the translation of information into micro-learning. We easily solved this by creating our own, but it would be helpful if there was something available as a starting point.

With hundreds of sales people in our company, it is a great way to engage them in an agile way that ensures consistency in their understanding. It also easily facilitates the induction of new hires.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lucy H. | eLearning Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 09, 2019

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

Authoring tool is easy to use once you've got your head around a few things (which doesn't take long!). The learning experience it delivers is excellent - we're getting really good feedback form pilot participants. The team behind Ed are incredibly helpful and supportive.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

You need to learn a bit of CSS formatting. A few layout issues mean multiple clicks to get to the page needed for editing - no major drama, but if you need to flick between courses quickly it can be a little bit frustrating. Updates are being made all the time though. There have been a few bugs which caused minor issues during the pilot, but again they are always quick to sort them wherever possible.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a large workforce that are geographically dispersed across Australia. Engagement with traditional eLearning is limited. edapp is allowing us to deliver engaging training in micro-chunks - much more user friendly for an incredibly time-poor workforce

  ### 8. Great Authoring Tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeff B. | Elearning Developer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2019

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

EdApp is Easy to use and makes content creation quick and fun. There are many templates to choose from with examples on how to use each of them. EdApp offers a multitude of functions for any user. weather starting a career in instructional design or looking to speed up the content creation process, EdApp is a great tool! There a phenomenal amount of support form our account representative as they have made themselves available to us at any time to help with any questions I may have. Definitely recommend.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

The User analytics are lacking in depth and quality. There is no opportunity to view what platform users are logging in on (Mobile or Desktop) which effects how you design your content. You have to wrap your head around how courses and users are grouped. There is a hierarchy system that our business implemented that has made it work but we hand to figure this out on our own.

There is definitely an opportunity to take one of the many webinars EdApp offers to go over tips on grouping users and courses in easy ways.

**Recommendations to others considering SC Training (Formerly EdApp):**

Find an easy way to get information on your users to you can create accounts quickly and easily. Work alongside your account representative at EdApp they are a wealth of knowledge.,

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have many Dealers in Canada, the United States and Europe that sell our products (Barbecues, Fireplaces and HVAC systems). EdApp is the platform from which our Dealers become educated on the features and benefits to improve sales and gain valuable technical training around our Products.

  ### 9. The best authoring tool; the best accounts' support team; the app that makes you want to learn more

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dana A. | Talent Development Manager , Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2019

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

40 characters are simply not enough to describe how Ed microlearning product is totally amazing, both for author and user. You will enjoy creating the courses in this authoring tool; you will receive all the necessary support that you need from the Ed team; and your users would like this app very much, because it is engaging and intuitive. So search no more, try it.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

The only thing I dislike about Ed microlearning is that it's not for free... :)

**Recommendations to others considering SC Training (Formerly EdApp):**

If you are looking for a microlearning solution that will enable you to create content quickly, with ability to do it in-house, I'd definitely recommend you to try Ed. Ed product is very intuitive - the on-boarding session for admins takes only an hour, after which, the admin will be ready to work with the authoring tool, creating the lessons that your business needs.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With EdApp, we create microlearning courses with the specific content, topics that cannot be bought off the shelf, but should be produced in-house.

  ### 10. EdApp is easy to use and makes content creation quick and enjoyable.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** sara m. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2020

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

EdApp is easy to use and makes content creation quick and enjoyable. There are several templates that show examples of how to use all the templates. EdApp offers various features to all users. Whether you're starting a career in educational style or looking to quickly create content, EdApp might be a great tool! The customer broker needs to be available in the US at all times to assist with any queries I might have, so the support is very extensive. I definitely recommend it.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

The user analysis lacks comprehensive quality. Regardless of how the content is styled, there is no opportunity to verify the platform (mobile or desktop) the user is working on. However, courses and users are sorted. There is a hierarchical system implemented by our business, and it is working, but we tend to resolve this on our own.

**Recommendations to others considering SC Training (Formerly EdApp):**

We sincerely appreciate you obtaining information about the user so that you can quickly and easily create information related to the account. Work with the business people at EdApp. They are a wealth of information.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In Canada, the United States, and Europe, there are many dealers selling our products (barbecues, fireplaces, HVAC systems). EdApp is a platform for dealers to be educated about the features and benefits to improve sales and gain valuable technical training on the products.

  ### 11. Agility & Flexibility at your fingertips

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sabina C. | Marketing Skills Development Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2019

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

- the intuitive and user-friendly platform (both for end-users and the administrator)
- live updates to the content
- detailed analytics that allows us to track our users' performance
- agile - from content creation to launch of the training module to the end users, the process is very smooth and easy to follow

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

- while the analytics are very detailed, we still need to manipulate the data on our end to include information that we consider important and that is not highlighted in the reports

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ED allowed us to deploy instant training to over 350 of our field force across Canada. The tool now serves as a key touchpoint when launching new products across the organization to ensure our field force is up to date in a fast and efficient manner, thus fulfilling the gaps present from face-to-face training.

  ### 12. The perfect tool for elegant, agile, crowd-sourced knowledge sharing.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carson P. | Learning & Development Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 09, 2019

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

The mobile app is slick and well-presented, and the pre-built templates make putting together a great-looking eLearning module a breeze. Analytics and metrics allow you to slice and dice system and user data in a multitude of ways.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

There is a slight learning curve at first to understand the appropriate template to use for the information to be presented, but that is also addressed quickly with time in the product.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have already used it to roll out some company-wide training around new processes, and will be using it in the future for onboarding, skill sharing, compliance training, and more. The opportunity for anyone who has anything to share or teach to be able to quickly and easily create content is a very attractive feature for us.

  ### 13. EdApp Microlearning is a software.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** samir l. | it specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2019

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

includes features such as adaptive learning, asynchronous learning, integrated course creation, content library, assessment management, gamification, leaderboards, progress tracking, quizzes, and reward management.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

Being part of a global team has its challenges. You must be ready to discuss in the evening if you are based in the United States and vice versa (early in the morning) if you are based in Australia. Some parts of the year are better than others. And with the continuous growth of the team, the situation is improving and communication does not necessarily have to occur as often.

**Recommendations to others considering SC Training (Formerly EdApp):**

no

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keep celebrating your employees and they will keep delivering! What a team we have.

  ### 14. Ed review - administrator, author and user

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Facilities Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2019

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

I like it all! As an instructional designer and learning project manager, Ed makes it so easy to create fantastic lessons quickly and easily. Compared to traditional authoring tools, creating a lesson in Ed is intuitive, quick, fun and takes the away all of the time, boredom and stress of testing.
It is also easy to change manage a new learning project when using Ed as learners actually want to use it. For an end user it's an engaging and interactive way of learning that doesn't use an LMS, tricky logins or lots of clicks to access. Lessons are accessed in seconds and completed in minutes, making mandatory training manageable, even for the busiest of people.
The added incentive of leaderboards and prizes also make it great learning solution. Online learning can often be a pretty unsociable experience but these clever aspects of tool add some fun competition to the experience.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

This is a difficult question as it's a tool I love using. There have been a couple of issues with the app working in China where we have users but this has easily been overcome by the desktop version of the software and fantastic support by our accounts team.

**Recommendations to others considering SC Training (Formerly EdApp):**

We first used Ed to refresh training that our learners had previously completed, either face to face or via traditional eLearning methods. This worked really well when refreshing really important safety related content. This worked well for our learners rather than starting with brand new content that they were not familiar with.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem we have solved is our learners are completing mandatory training. Historically, online training has had relatively low completion rates which leaves gaps in peoples knowledge. This can be risky if these gaps relate to Health and Safety. With the introduction on Ed, our online training completion rates have almost tripled meaning our employees have the knowledge they need to help create a safe working environment.

  ### 15. Simple yet powerful user-friendly tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stanislav L. | Marketing Skills Development Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2019

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

Simple digitally native usage. Easy to create a course using built-in templates. No need to request developer support in case of updates and changes. Excellent motivation and gamification. Fast and friendly support.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

Management of big number of users (more than 500) and big number of groups (more than 50) becomes complicated. Poor management analytics section. Admin analytics is not ideal either – may look weird and complicated.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remote learning for field force stuff ensuring everyone receive same information and pass the tests. Releasing time for practice and coaching while facts and information is covered by EdApp.

  ### 16. Great micro-learning solution

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 26, 2019

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

EdApp provides a phenomenal mobile learning experience. It combines mobile learning authoring tools, gamification and spaced repetition to deliver a really powerful tool for building a learning culture.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

Like any tool it takes time to learn, that said, the learning curve is quick and the software is intuitive.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our company focuses on delivering into and e-learning solutions for our clients.

  ### 17. Easy to Use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cindy B. | Curriculum Designer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2019

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

I wish the analytics reporting was more consistent across the reports.

Give it a try, it's worth it!

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are reaching a wider audience, and allowing all generations to be taught in an effective and relevant manner.

  ### 18. The introduction to EdApp was inspiring.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bill H. | Mr, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 31, 2019

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

Most impressive is the broad range of interactive screens that engage the learner, deliver content, provide active learning, reinforce through gamification and obtain feedback through survey.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

Possibly the least helpful is not having learnt about EdApp sooner!

**Recommendations to others considering SC Training (Formerly EdApp):**

Identify what need it is fulfilling.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I propose to introduce EdApp as a key method of delivery and learning within the not-for-profit organisation All Hands and Hearts-Smart Response as they address the issue of how best to train volunteers working on their construction sites and peer leading other volunteers.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

I Cannot think of any dislike at this time.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are moving from a traditional SCORM environment to be able to impact safety behavior. Ed is allowing us to do this quickly. We signed the contract 45 days ago and they assisted with content development and on boarding support. We are ready to launch.

  ### 20. Ed Democratizes EdTech

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 03, 2019

**What do you like best about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

"Best" is hard because there so much to love about Ed. If I have to choose, I'd say that Ed makes building industry-leading eLlearning / mLearning an option for anyone with something to teach and a computer.

**What do you dislike about SC Training (Formerly EdApp)?**

I could nit-pick, but these things are either going to be address by Ed by their next update or shortly thereafter.

**Recommendations to others considering SC Training (Formerly EdApp):**

Test before delivering to clients/staff/others.

**What problems is SC Training (Formerly EdApp) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making workplace training manageable, fun and meaningful.
