The Acuvigil platform is super simple to use and rich in all of the information it provides. And the cellular backup for internet outages has been a life saver. Due to an internet trunk line being cut at one high volume location, we had no internet feed for over a week. The cellular backup kept us up and running for the whole time and saved us from serious sales loss. **What do you dislike about SC//AcuVigil?** The only issue is that we are in the process of a POS system swap. We register all devices as they come online. Acuvigil can sometimes lock the config for up to 10 minutes after a registration. Slows the process down. **Recommendations to others considering SC//AcuVigil:** Get a good handle on your networking needs and be ready with all needed info on White Lists, segmentation, etc. If you are organized going in, the setup is a breeze. **What problems is SC//AcuVigil solving and how is that benefiting you?** SPIN! Concepts needed a way to manage the networking for multiple locations from on consolidated above store platform. We also needed the ability to segment out the network and apply appropriate White Lists. Acumera provided all of this at a very reasonable price, with great support. ### 2. As a client, we may not always feel recognized or have our specific service level agreements fully addressed. The SD-WAN functionality was minimal with no GUI to view carrier information, circuit latency/jitter/packet loss, did not allow us to design custom rules to route specific traffic over defined interfaces (Ie wired vs cellular) and did not allow for customized rules to block or throttle traffic when going over a cellular interface in case of primary internet failure. Required a lot of customization which took months to design just to get into pilot. **What problems is SC//AcuVigil solving and how is that benefiting you?** We looked at Acuvigil as our centralized SD-WAN, Firewall, Routing, and Store Network Management platform ### 6. Managing devices through the Acuvigil platform is very easy. **What do you dislike about SC//AcuVigil?** When something does go wrong it takes awhile to achieve a resolution. The support team is great and can handle a ton of issues, it just take a bit of time sometimes. **Recommendations to others considering SC//AcuVigil:** Get a quote from other vendors. You'll probably find that the AcuVigil teams quote is going to be one of your cheaper solutions. That being said you're not giving up anything, the value proposition is very good. **What problems is SC//AcuVigil solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use AcuVigil for our MNSP platform. They provide a great service to take the load of managing 130+ firewall locations off of our shoulders. ### 7. Multiple agents handle the same ticket, Tier 1 support seems clueless about resolving issues, and Tier 2 takes an excessively long time to respond. There’s no quick or efficient resolution. **What problems is SC//AcuVigil solving and how is that benefiting you?** SC//AcuVigil solves the challenge of securely connecting remote sites to the corporate network by providing a managed gateway and a reliable VPN connection.
