Your whole life you hear that you need to make a budget and if you don't you will regret it. However, if you ever have sat down to make one you know one of the biggest struggles is knowing how much you should be budgeting in each category. Is it crazy to be budgeting $300 a month for a single person for groceries? Who knows!? I love that Savology is the first budgeting service I have ever used that made a customized plan suggesting how much I should be budgeting in all categories based on my specific financial situation. The next addition I would LOVE to see in Savology is a way to track my expenditures. It is a wonderful service as is, and the ability to add my cards and bank accounts so that it will tell me how to spend and keep track of that spending would make it the ultimate all in one package. The fact that I can get a financial plan in 5 minutes or less is incredible. They send out reminders to work on bit size tasks so I can get my financial affairs in order. With financial literacy at an all time low in the U.S. this is a must for everyone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love that Savology can diagnose my financial needs in 5 minutes. They provide a path to success with baby steps to help me hit important milestones that weren't even on my radar previously. So far, so good! At first, it felt like another financial app, but the more I use it, the more value I see! You get out of it what you put into it! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

They don't even take personal information! That is how I know its secure. They can't sell my personal data, because they don't have it! They don't even know my last name, let alone my account numbers, address, identify ing info etc. The survey only takes about 10 minutes but gives me a comprehensive view of my financial position. Their occasional emails (quarterlyish) remind me to update my info so I can track my improvements. Their content helps me understand why their recommendations are important for me to improve my finances.

I don't dislike much. They have a one size fits most solution, so if you are stupid rich and have super complex holdings, it may not work for you. But I have a regular job, and make regular money, and need help tracking how I'm using it and where my money is ending up, and how to protect myself. It's perfect for that. Where do I start?! Savology has given me the tools and transparency I needed in order to be more fiscally responsible in my own life. not only have I been able to save money, but I've learned so much about different aspects in the financial world that I was unfamiliar with which in essence changed so much about my thoughts & behaviors regarding money.
