**Reviewed Date:** March 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Sauce Labs?**

I like that Sauce Labs has no lag, which makes the testing process smoother. I also appreciate the recordings feature a lot, as it allows me to check back when we have defects and upload the recordings to the stories or defects, which is very useful for QA Testing on mobile devices. The initial setup was fairly easy for our team, which was a nice bonus.

**What do you dislike about Sauce Labs?**

One challenge with sauce labs is that some real devices may occasionally be slow or temporarily unavailable during peak usage times Initial setup and integration can also take some effort for teams that are new to cloud based automation testing In certain cases, debugging intermittent issues on remote devices may take longer compared to testing on physical in house devices However, overall, the platform has been reliable and helpful for our testing process

**What problems is Sauce Labs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Sauce Labs for QA testing on mobile devices, solving the hassle of maintaining physical devices. It offers no lag and valuable recordings to review defects and attach them to reports.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** ADITYA T. | Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Sauce Labs?**

What I like best about Sauce Labs is how it provides a truly unified testing platform for both web and mobile applications, allowing me to run parallel automated tests across multiple browsers and devices seamlessly. The real-time analytics and detailed test reports also make it easy to identify issues quickly, reducing the feedback loop and improving overall software quality.

**What do you dislike about Sauce Labs?**

One thing I find challenging about Sauce Labs is that running extensive test suites on real devices can sometimes be slower than local environments, especially when dealing with large-scale parallel testing. Additionally, while the platform is feature-rich, the learning curve for optimizing advanced configurations and integrations can be a bit steep for new users.

**What problems is Sauce Labs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sauce Labs solves the challenge of cross-browser and cross-device testing by providing a cloud-based platform where tests can run simultaneously on hundreds of browser and device combinations. This ensures that applications behave consistently for all users. For me, this translates into faster release cycles, fewer production issues, and higher confidence in software quality, without the overhead of maintaining a large physical device lab.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2020

**What do you like best about Sauce Labs?**

Sauce Labs gives me different real devices to test my web applications and that is what I like most. It has a very intuitive user interface, so anyone can carry out a test. Furthermore, parallel tests can be carried out, that is, the same case of purba in different devices. Also, I like that a tool for recording and playback is available.

Honestly, I haven't had considerable inconveniences with Sauce Labs, in my opinion it has always worked correctly. In addition, its price is accessible and they offer a free trial.

A pleasant user interface, different platforms and good price. A solution for those who need to perform multiple tests at the same time.

Advanced and simple step to just a shake is needed to report the bug. It's really good to track bug when testfairy is integrated with the app. also we can enter a session in real time and help a user to solve an issue. we can easily invite the testers and from testfairy itself we can create bug.

It's not mandatorily showing about the screenrecording to the user.

  ### 25. SauceLabs helps us to reduce the cost of running manual testing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2019

**What do you like best about Sauce Labs?**

It has a variety of platforms and devices that we can choose from. The great thing is that SauceLabs support appium and mobile devices testing. We currently have some web product so testing the responsiveness is a must. And with Saucelabs, we have reduced the number and effort of manual testing by running the test on the cloud.
When it comes to a SAAS provider, saucelabs is one of the best in the business in term of customer support. They have an amazing staff who will answer your question almost immediately. On the other hand, their support forum is great. Sometimes I can just google or search in their forum and I will see the problem that's already there with an actual solution.

**What do you dislike about Sauce Labs?**

I wish there is a mobile app for easier access. For sometimes we want to check the result immediately, we need to access the website on the phone browser. If there was a Saucelabs app like other out there, it would be a lot more convenient.

**Recommendations to others considering Sauce Labs:**

You can always ask for a trial, and there support is really fast, just send them an email and get it back within an hour.

**What problems is Sauce Labs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

It's really easy to track bug when testfairy is integrated with the app. also just a shake is needed to report the bug. also we will get realtime consoling too.

**Recommendations to others considering Sauce Labs:**

  ### 27. TestFairy gets the job done!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nahid K. | Quality Assurance Lead, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 02, 2019

**What do you like best about Sauce Labs?**

We frequently hold bug bashes with various stakeholders and TestFairy makes it easy to upload/install builds for distribution! We had issues in the past with getting builds distributed to our team members with complicated instructions, but now it all works with the tap of a single link. We're able to automate build generation with TestFairy's upload API to automatically generate builds as well which is a plus.

**What do you dislike about Sauce Labs?**

Responses given when uploading builds via the API can get a little annoying to work with considering you receive like 4 different URLs of which only 1 is really useful. The learning curve was a bit tough, but it all makes sense now. It'd be nice if a majority of the features weren't up-charge options that'd cost a pretty penny if you were to take advantage of everything.

**What problems is Sauce Labs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With HockeyApp soon to be deprecated, we needed a new solution for build distribution of our mobile apps. TestFairy gets the job done!

  ### 28. TestFairy simplified mobile development and testing for a distributed team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** JJ O. | Systems Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2019

**What do you like best about Sauce Labs?**

The ability to capture application logs and user interactions in real-time has made TestFairy an invaluable part of our app development efforts. The wealth of information that TestFairy captures is essential to my team's testing and debugging efforts.

**What do you dislike about Sauce Labs?**

TestFairy is great. If I had to pick one complaint, it would be that there is sometimes a few minutes of lag between an action occurring on the app, and the action being received by TestFairy. However, this is quickly resolved by waiting a few minutes for TestFairy to refresh.

**What problems is Sauce Labs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I work as a research assistant in a lab at a major US university. My team works with a remote app developer. TestFairy has been essential to quickly communicating our feedback to the developer during our weekly meetings. Because of TestFairy, I can show the developer exactly where/when bugs occurred, what actions I was taking to produce those bugs, information about the device which triggered the bug, and I can even show them the application logs that were created by my app at that time.

After we finish development, we plan to use TestFairy to monitor usage of our app during a usability study.

My boss described TesFairy as "worth every penny" multiple times following our weekly meetings. I don't know what I would do without TestFairy.

  ### 29. You cannot do the job right without TestFairy.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John A. | VP of QE, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2019

**What do you like best about Sauce Labs?**

The video recording, file distribution, and integration with Jira are key for us. I have recommended this to colleagues in the same field. The ability to easily group and distribute builds to alpha, beta, and partners based on custom defined groups is much better than the primitive features allowed by the online stores. We use the Jira integration for all projects... the auto-ticket feature and the Jira plugin that allow the video and logs directly into a ticket means the developers don't need to go to the TestFairy dashboard to see the details; it is all right there for review in Jira.

**What do you dislike about Sauce Labs?**

That is a tough one. Some additional query filters would be good.

**Recommendations to others considering Sauce Labs:**

Look around but it is a waste of time... TestFairy is the best product for mobile testing by far.

**What problems is Sauce Labs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cross-platform mobile application development and testing. It allows us to work efficiently as a team and respond immediately to issues.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** AKHILESH G. | QA Engineer, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2019

**What do you like best about Sauce Labs?**

The device range and earlier the trial period was good enough for a person to start and do POC .
The plans and free devices are also good enough . The platform provides a good reporting method from screenshot to bug logs.
It is most helpful as it is not any framework dependant as you just need to add the key in the desired capability .

**What do you dislike about Sauce Labs?**

The free trial should be slightly more and than basic plans are not that helpful.s

**Recommendations to others considering Sauce Labs:**

Guys it is ease to use , the person just need to have a basic development skills.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Randall K. | Sr. Automation Test Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 06, 2018

**What do you like best about Sauce Labs?**

I like the fact that I don't have to maintain my own test infrastructure to get tests up and running. My time can be spent developing and executing instead of maintaining virtual machines.

**What do you dislike about Sauce Labs?**

This is tough because I like pretty much everything about Sauce Labs. If I was forced to pick one thing, I would say I wish it was faster. With that said, it isn't a problem at the current speed. We just always want everything faster. Don't we?

**What problems is Sauce Labs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The business problems being solved is we don't have to waste automation, dev, IT or any other groups time maintaining a test environment of test servers and agents/nodes. Sauce Labs handles all that and for a fraction of what it would cost to hire someone in house to do.

  ### 37. The perfect mobile testing platform for my company

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joe M. | Mobile Developer, Computer Software, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2018

**What do you like best about Sauce Labs?**

TestFairy has really good app distribution capabilities, and the fact that it integrates with our OKTA saved us a lot of headache. The video recordings are very useful, and so does the ability to shake the app and provide feedback with video recording

**What do you dislike about Sauce Labs?**

I wish they had the same functionality for websites.

**Recommendations to others considering Sauce Labs:**

TestFairy is a super powerful mobile platform, helping my team fix bugs faster. Strongly recommended.

**What problems is Sauce Labs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TestFairy helps us with app distribution to the right people in the company, with OKTA integration so that only company employees can access the service.
In addition it comes with build in video recording, so I can see how users us my app and use the video to fix bugs and crashes.

  ### 38. Love these guys

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alan A. | Sr. Software Development Engineer in Test, Computer & Network Security, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2018

**What do you like best about Sauce Labs?**

The service is outstanding. They provide me with the combinations of browsers/platforms that make it easy for me to do my job. And I don't have to spend any of my time maintaining a lab! Lab maintenance is where I found I was spending a lot of time in previous jobs. One less thing to worry about now! I love being able to watch the videos, and to share the screenshots that the system takes for me.

**What do you dislike about Sauce Labs?**

Sometimes it takes a little longer than a few days to get my support cases to closed. They used to be able to turn around support cases in a few hours, but now it's a little longer. It seems to me (anecdotally) that the time needed to get the tests running is a smidge longer. But I have not done anything besides mention this to support.

**Recommendations to others considering Sauce Labs:**

Of course!

**What problems is Sauce Labs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cross Browser validation
Mobile App validation
Using Sauce labs just saves me time in the long run.

  ### 39. SauceLabs allows us to test on multiple browsers and OS combinations in an easy, streamlined way

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2018

**What do you like best about Sauce Labs?**

Saucelabs integrates with our continuous delivery sytem. Allowing us to test on a ton of different OS and browser configurations. Without the SauceLabs solution, we would have to have 20+ machines in order to create the same solution. And what we get with this solution that we don't get with a local solution is error handling, reporting, screen recording, etc.

**What do you dislike about Sauce Labs?**

I am not sure that there is anything I can say that I don't like. We have been with saucelabs for a number of years, back in the day there were issues, but as time goes on, and saucelabs releases new features and fixes, they are at a point now that they work very well, and meet all my needs.

**What problems is Sauce Labs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed to run our automation tests on multiple os's, languages, and browser combinations. We also didn't want to have to buy and manager a bunch of hardware. Saucelabs has allowed us to save money and yet have much larger test coverage.

  ### 40. my experience testing with saucelabs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 23, 2019

**What do you like best about Sauce Labs?**

I like the ease to run a lot of combinations of OS/browser/version when i'm testing web apps with selenium just calling selenium hub. Testing and automate tests in different browsers and operative systems is a hard and expensive task, because you have to install and the do all maintenance and updating work.

**What do you dislike about Sauce Labs?**

When you need to trial the application, the trial accounts are very limited, without all OS and browsers available in the professional plans.

**Recommendations to others considering Sauce Labs:**

I strongly recommend considering this tool if your need is to test web applications in different browsers, devices and operating systems. The characteristics of this platform solves very complex tasks in the field of testing.

**What problems is Sauce Labs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest benefit of using saucelabs is the ease of running tests on any operating system, browser and browser version without worrying about the installation and maintenance work involved. It saves many problems and allows you to focus just on designing tests and executing them.

In addition, there is a wide variety of operating systems, devices, browsers, browser versions available.

  ### 41. Great testing tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin H. | Senior Software Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2018

**What do you like best about Sauce Labs?**

It's easy to test a wide variety of system configurations that would be a pain to maintain myself. Automated and manual testing options are great.

**What do you dislike about Sauce Labs?**

We have seen slowness when running automated testing so the time it tasks to run all our test is sometimes and issue. We also have seen timing problems that don't occur when you run the test manually or locally so there is some back and forth to get the sleeps set correctly.

**What problems is Sauce Labs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can test less popular browsers and automate them so we don't spend time manually validating releases

  ### 42. Test fairy is amazing, a true super tool

**What do you dislike about Sauce Labs?**

The product is pretty good for what it does.

**What problems is Sauce Labs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

From darkness to light. With TestFairy we've found and solved lots of issues that would have been near impossible to find otherwise.

  ### 43. Brilliant distribution and debugging tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2018

**What do you like best about Sauce Labs?**

The fact that you get a video recording of a user session, synchronised with network activity, logs, crashes is absolutely brilliant in helping debug issues that are hard to recreated.
In addition, you can add custom data to easily find a relevant session.
There are also insights on app responsiveness and performance.

**What do you dislike about Sauce Labs?**

security/privacy concerns does not allow using this in production - that would have been an amazing tool to get insights on real users usage patterns. For some industries / applications this is not a concern though.

**Recommendations to others considering Sauce Labs:**

I highly recommend this product. It is simply an excellent product and it comes with great service and support. We were getting answers to technical questions in hours and feature requests we asked for were implemented in days. If you are an app developer that cares for the performance, usability and stability of your app, this is an amazing tool.

**What problems is Sauce Labs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

  ### 44. Amazing website

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Human Resources | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 02, 2018

**What do you like best about Sauce Labs?**

One thing that Sauce Labs does very well is continuing to provide education for technological products, so that we stay up to speed and are even able to learn new things that we never knew before. I definitely saw myself applying a lot of the new concepts that I learned, such as automated testing.
I also love the Secret Sauce where we can learn about new product updates for Sauce Labs, as well as learn about upcoming events such as SauceCon. I love being able to stay abreast of a company that I love, as well as be able to learn of more interactive meetings where I can meet tech-minded people, as well as the Sauce company, i.e. Saucecon.
I really love the customer service. Once in the Forum, I had a question, and Alyssa the VP actually gave me a reply, and was very quick to respond as well as very friendly. I've never had a company where the leadership was so responsive and so eager to dive in with customers on issues and questions that they have. This definitely shows that Sauce isn't just about getting profits, and that they truly deeply care about making the customers happy and successful.
Lastly, I love how Sauce University has a stash which encourages friendly competition among team members. It shows who has the most points, which encourages us to continue to actively participate in those trainings and challenges and quizzes. This in turn adds an element of fun to our work.

**What do you dislike about Sauce Labs?**

In Sauce University trainings, it would be nice we could receive more in-depth information, as opposed to a short paragraph of information. As a beginner in the technological field, I would definitely find that helpful. Maybe they could do something where you can create a link to show more details, so that more advanced readers don't have to open it, but beginners can actually open up that link to read more.
Also, it would be nice if in the trainings you would include the videos as well because a lot of people are visual learners.
I wish it were easier to search through the Sauce Labs help page. Sometimes it takes quite a few searches to get to the right result. For instance, I'm not sure if I should click on Knowledge Base or Documentation or Support- there's too much to click-through. There should just be a Search All button that would search across the whole Sauce Labs page, so that we can easily find the answer that we need.
Our team especially loves the challenges, because again that fosters friendly competition and encourages us to continue to learn more about the product and the tech, as well as hone previous skills we've learned through Sauce Labs. We definitely hope that more of those classes come out every week, so we can dive deeper into each concept. I think there should be a feedback page where we can submit ideas for the classes that we would like to see.

**Recommendations to others considering Sauce Labs:**

I would say that Sauce Labs is best suited for troubleshooting internal issues that we do have customers. Currently we do use Sauce Labs with JIRA integration which easily allows us to keep track of the tickets that we are sending to a technical team on the half of our clients that utilize our software. It also allows our technical team to use that interface to investigate what's going on in the background for the issues that our clients AK and users are facing.

It's also well suited for educational purposes, because you get to use Sauce University as well as attend any boot camps to continue to broaden your knowledge and become a stronger technological resource in the company.

**What problems is Sauce Labs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At this time we are currently using Sauce Labs across the entire organization. Within 1 to 2 months of being hired, we all get an invite to join Sauce Labs from our email and then we're set a couple of reminder emails as well. Our organization is B2B software, and our goal is that no matter what department you're in, you'll be educated on the technology we all ultimately work with. We're all encouraged to take additional training to get ourselves up to speed about different kinds of software and technology, as well as troubleshooting devices and codes. What my team specifically uses is Sauce Labs University, which is where we can build our knowledge of IT and coding that we can apply to our job. The benefit that we get from this is that we can better understand what goes on in the back end, and we can therefore work more efficiently and better address customer-facing questions.

**Reviewed by:** Mackenzie A. | Software Developer, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2018

**What do you like best about Sauce Labs?**

Capability to tape screenshots and video of running tests along with commands log. What sealed the offer for me personally, is the commitment to supplying totally free, limitless access to their services for open sourced jobs at a level that's really worth while. The video function is fantastic, we can see exactly what takes place when the automated test case stops working.

**What do you dislike about Sauce Labs?**

Main point that i have actually dealt with was the cloud service is bit sluggish. Often when i run a parallel executions it takes substantial long period of time to finish executions. It is bit sluggish and took at some point to carry out action.

**What problems is Sauce Labs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We began to utilize sauce for manual recognition of mobile friendly websites. We have actually considering that included automatic screening through Selenium and it has actually conserved us time evaluating brand-new and existing applications.
