## SAS Visual Statistics Reviews
  ### 1. Best tool for performing large-scale statistical and machine learning computations!!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2025

**What do you like best about SAS Visual Statistics?**

Processing large datasets is much faster than traditional disk-based processing as the computations are performed in memory (RAM). It also supports advanced analytics like regression, decision trees, clustering, and machine learning algorithms. we have build regression model to identify loan defaulter by analysing bureau data. It is easy to use for experienced one and has good customer support as well. It can also be easily integrate with SAS Visual Analytics and SAS Enterprise Miner.

**What do you dislike about SAS Visual Statistics?**

The only dislike I want to mention is its high lisencing cost and infrastructure requirements.

**What problems is SAS Visual Statistics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

we have build regression model to identify loan defaulter by analysing bureau data. We integrated this with SAS Enterprise Miner to perform statistical analysis .
We are exploring other advance analytics like clustering and decision tree methodoly to implement with the help of this tool.

  ### 2. For extracting insights and making data-driven decisions. SAS Visual Statistics is must.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Uddesh K. | YouTube Manager , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2023

**What do you like best about SAS Visual Statistics?**

one of the aspects I adore about SAS Visual Statistics is its seamless integration with other SAS products. The ability to leverage the power of SAS Visual Analytics and SAS Enterprise Miner in conjunction with Visual Statistics creates a comprehensive ecosystem for end-to-end data analysis. This integration allows for a more holistic approach to extracting insights and making data-driven decisions.

**What do you dislike about SAS Visual Statistics?**

One of the downsides of SAS Visual Statistics is the potential vendor lock-in. As it's part of the SAS ecosystem, organizations that heavily rely on SAS products may face challenges if they consider migrating to alternative solutions. This limitation can restrict flexibility and limit the range of available options, particularly when there is a need for interoperability with different platforms or data sources.

**What problems is SAS Visual Statistics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

used SAS Visual Statistics to tackle a customer segmentation project for our company. By leveraging its advanced clustering algorithms, I was able to uncover distinct customer segments based on various attributes. The visualizations generated by SAS Visual Statistics aided in effectively presenting the findings to our team, allowing us to tailor marketing strategies and improve customer engagement.

  ### 3. Simple yet Powerful quite outdated

**Reviewed Date:** December 14, 2022

**What do you like best about SAS Visual Statistics?**

Easy to use web UI to built different ML models (Logistic Regression, CART, SVM etc.) , with model evaluation across multiple metrics. Model code can be exported to integrate as per your ML model pipeline.

**What do you dislike about SAS Visual Statistics?**

Limited usefulness in case of highly skewed data. Though it contains wide array of generalized ML techniques, but other options like sampling, cost function customization are lacking

**What problems is SAS Visual Statistics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy to use tool for anyone without the CS & ML background to built, test and deploy ML solutions

  ### 6. Enterprise solutions

**What do you like best about SAS Visual Statistics?**

First of all it gives you a trial version to see its features and have a glitch of it. You can actually drill down your data and build models for analysis which really helps in the business decision making.

**What do you dislike about SAS Visual Statistics?**

As such there is no major limitation has been observed so far. However each machine has to be its own private IP address thus there could be a need of multiple resources to deploy to have enhanced performance.

**Recommendations to others considering SAS Visual Statistics:**

yes go for it. It has awesome support as well.

**What problems is SAS Visual Statistics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps in predictive analysis hence assist senior management to judge where business is going and what are its needs.
