## SAS Studio Reviews
  ### 1. Best tool for Data Analysis

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Akanksha G. | Senior Test Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 21, 2023

**What do you like best about SAS Studio?**

SAS studio is very fast in giving us descriptive stats about the data using its procedure function like proc means, proc freq, proc tabulate etc

**What do you dislike about SAS Studio?**

Nothing cons about the SAS studio , its just sometimes, it works slowly when using proc sql with big datasets.

**What problems is SAS Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAS studio first helps us in exploratory data analysis using its procedure function like proc means, proc freq etc.
Later on, it helps us in making statistical model to predict the good and bad with its inbuilt feature proc reg (for logistic regression implementation).

  ### 2. The next step in SAS Coding

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 13, 2023

**What do you like best about SAS Studio?**

It is a easy to use ide for sas developers, data scientists or analysts. A very helpful feature is the auto completion and the link to documentation sites as well as the short tips about how to use a specific statement

**What do you dislike about SAS Studio?**

I find it difficult to navigate through all the different tabs and windows that are displayed in your sas studio session, e.g. the log, output or viewing table properties etc. You really need a big screen to see it all. Otherwise you are always dragging different tabs to be smaller or larger.

**What problems is SAS Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Developing Code primarily SAS Base and Macro.

A different interface to the power of SAS.

  ### 5. Best Tool for Data Science with least code

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jagdish R. | Senior Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 16, 2023

**What do you like best about SAS Studio?**

Best thing about SAS you can have all the necessary information by one single line code, which would require multiple line codes in programing Languages.
Also there are standard code in SAS, which is another best thing i like about it.
Its best tool for beginners who want to focus on process and outcomes, not learning codes.

**What do you dislike about SAS Studio?**

Nothing.
I don't feel there is anything I dislike about SAS, but they can improve their data visualisation and can give user more options to make charts and dashboards more dynamic.

**What problems is SAS Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have done multiple data science projects on SAS, and it helped me to focus on the problem rether than running codes.
The codes are so simple to understand and give most of the outcome you need for the analysis

SAS Studio, being a web-based app, allows you to save the code exclusively on the server, which makes external sharing cumbersome (if compared to other SAS products where the code is saved locally, as the editor is installed on the PC), in fact to have a local code it is necessary to download it on your PC.
