As a tool that has grown and matured over the years, SAS Fraud Management is certainly structured well for quickly making real time decisions, for thousands of transactions a second, with various transaction treatments. The fixed API that SAS developed some decades ago has undergone some minor changes to handle small changes in data patterns (longer fields), but hasn't expanded sufficiently to handle things like digital or biometric markers.
