What do you like best about SAS Governance and Compliance Manager?

The analytic capabilities that allow me to connect to a database live and to analyze and extract specific information. I also like the training modules that are provided to help overcome the learning curve which is very steep. There is very good interaction capability to work with numerous databases or data files. What problems is SAS Governance and Compliance Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?

Mostly summary statistics for large data. I also use this for metadata work and creating predictive models. The benefits that we have realized are quick access to our data and ability to use sophisticated analytic methods to explore the data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

SAS is a very complex program with so much it can do that I'd definitely recommend training before using. SAS's personal site has free tutorials that can definitely help out someone beginning to use the program for the first time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

SAS is the best software i've used for BIG data manipulation and data pulling. When you further understand some of the advanced coding SAS can provide there are ways to automate certain processes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
