It comes with modern visualization tools, like heat maps, and it all comes in a single software. The best part is that it doesn't need long coaching sessions, as it’s is extremely intuitive. Once the technologist has ready the cloud information and normal fields, everybody is able to do dashboard autonomously. Also, SAS provides a good variety of choices for simulations and it has the power to integrate with third parties’ solutions and merge all data in a single system, that will later be analyzed and structured in reliable approach. Then it starts acting a little weird and the model runtime gets slower. The user interface is clear up to a certain point, where it starts to be a bit confusing if you want to use for more complex problems. The biggest strength from SAS is it ability to automate reporting, an activity that may take a lot of time to do manually or even with other software as support. I consider this to be so easy and intuitive that I, as an IT professional with some experience on analytics, was able to learn it supported only on a couple of tutorials. This solution is able to create graphics and model very detailed and easy to understand, which are perfectly complemented with all the statistical tools available. Within SAS, I love the ability to port in multiple datasets in large volumes. It has user interface options that can run much cleaner than R. There is a steep learning curve (as with all coding languages), but the nice thing is that there is the ability to use SQL commands in lieu of SAS queries. The coding is the most brutal part (automation is great). There are several competitors out there that are much more seamless to use. It is frustrating that tables and data must be manipulated directly. On top of that, the output is not always presentation friendly for clients.
