**What do you like best about Kallidus?**

The graphical user interface of sapling is clear and uncluttered.

**What do you dislike about Kallidus?**

The load time of each webpage has a noticeable time gap which might be due to the hardware or the sapling system.

**What problems is Kallidus solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a consumer, it eases my transition into the company remotely. Prior to sapling, most of my onboarding processes required in person meetings.

The number of integrations with external systems

**What do you dislike about Kallidus?**

- extremely slow interface; it's multiple seconds before a screen is rendered
- poor UX, it takes a lot of time to figure out how to do things

**What problems is Kallidus solving and how is that benefiting you?**

HR data spread out across spreadsheets and not up to date. 
We now have centralized all this data.

I like that Sapling integrated with ADP. But the reporting is not up to what's needed in today's world.

I don't like how it can't do task flows.

The biggest benefit is having employees be able to see an org chart and learn more about their colleagues.

It's a simple, easy to navigate platform. I'm not the type of person to want to watch a bunch of help videos and with Sapling, you don't need to. Slack integration is awesome

I just started using it and haven't found anything I dislike yet

Nice to have a central place to manage all of your personal things. Gone are the days where I'm slacking my boss for time off!

The UI and Card format. Things have their own space and dedicated use no overlapping UI elements which keep the experience easy to use.

Nothing that I can think of as of yet that takes away from the overall experience.

Compares to the other business profiles present in the market I feel the cleaner UI benefits rather than making it too crowded on the screen with items.

Can be buggy at times and no two-way API with our HRIS system

Everything before was tracked in google sheets and was a very manual process. This has saved us loads of time and helped us scale.

It's great that Sapling provides a one stop shop for onboarding new employees. The automated steps are fantastic in limiting the need for touching multiple moving parts and pieces.

**What do you dislike about Kallidus?**

The UI is cumbersome to deal with. You cannot open items in various tabs, there are often many errors and issues when attempting to carry out some tasks. Load times are incredibly long, along with navigation being very difficult and cumbersome.

Automate onboarding steps, and having new employees provide relevant details when needed

The thing I love most about Sapling is that is has been so easy and straight forward. Everything I have needed to complete prior to my start date has been evidently illustrated to me and reminded me if I need to complete anything further! It takes the guess work out of what I need to have done and ensures I am right on track with my onboarding process.

**What do you dislike about Kallidus?**

I don't really have anything negative to say about Sapling! The only thing I noticed was that most of the time someone is "Away" on the chat page if you need help so sometimes you are not able to get help immediately. BUT they do always leave a message so when you get back, your question is answered. It is also emailed to your email address as well.

**What problems is Kallidus solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sapling immediately corrects spelling errors to ensure proper grammar and word usage. This is extremely helpful, especially when you type very quickly and can sometimes make mistakes!

Sapling's great for staying focussed when there's a lot of new information - it's helped me stay on time and on topic through the simple interface and convenient customer support area.

There are some good integrations with other tools, specially making it seamless to go from hire in greenhouse to hired in bamboohr and ensures no one we hire falls through the cracks.

Although there are few to compare to, the software really hasn’t shown to make the on boarding process best in class in any way/proven to drive efficiency.

It is easy to assign tasks, complete them and make the results visible to the team members. Easy to share documents and profile information inside. The interface is very user-friendly.

Since this is my first experience in using software of this type I have nothing to compare with yet. I like everything so far.

I was onboarded with Sampling in a very easy and user-friendly way. I realized its convenience in terms of organization of teamwork.

I appreciated the intro to my team during pre-onboarding, and the easy to navigate task board.

**What do you dislike about Kallidus?**

Tasks with multiple checkboxes took me a bit longer to figure out, but it's still fairly straightforward.  I didn't understand what the box with the line meant at first [-]  when it was only partially completed.

Was simple to use as a new employee. 

Friendly interface to see who are in the immediate team.

Colours used could be more bright? Not a lot can be complained about.

Being able to be new at a job, working remotely and be able to quickly see org structures and contacts. The nice touch around being able to see personal statements from people working in the company. It was good to also be able to see prioritised values for staff members.

This helps a lot to upload your paperwork easily and it's very friendly to make your profile. Also this is very good to know info from all the co-workers around the world from hobbies to tees size. AWESOME!

Only that it's was kind of tricky to type the info. At least that happen to me on my Android phone.

Sapling was very easy to use and has a great interface. I felt like I was joining a team while onboarding remotely. It was quick and easy.

**What do you dislike about Kallidus?**

The only thing that was a slightly less than ideal experience was that the system would log me out fairly quickly without warning. For example, while I was filling out my work profile section I took a while writing it out, when I hit save it had already logged me out and I lost my work. The quick log out thing happened a few times.

- One of the only tools we found to integrate with our existing HR tool suite from ATS to HRIS
- Very customizable, allows us to have unique workflows based on a variety of factors (location, position, classification, required paperwork)
- Open to feedback
- Great support and account management team
- Clean interface
- Helpful dashboard for snapshot of upcoming new hires.
- Improved features for changing start dates
- Able to integrate with JIRA to create provisioning tickets for IT

**What do you dislike about Kallidus?**

- Automated emails seem to have a lot of issues (specifically those sent internally)
- Some API integrations require constant maintenance, and we've had some issues with feeding data to Bamboohr
- Would like to see more ability to customize company-wide emails

**What problems is Kallidus solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- It allows us to have all relevant stakeholders work in one platform without the need for other tools.  Previously everyone was keeping their own onboarding list.
- It helps us streamline the handoff from recruiting to People Ops for onboarding new hires
- It helps us control the onboarding process for new hires and make it efficient and welcoming.

Sapling has always had an amazing dashboard that allows you to see where new hires are in the onboarding process in real time. It allows you to organize your organization's onboarding documents and workflows for different team members very easily. It is a super user friendly system that makes onboarding before day one easy to manage. Also- the support team is stellar and always highly responsive.

**What do you dislike about Kallidus?**

Perhaps have the I-9 form automated or a process to manage that in the system, with some external review/signature component built in.

**Recommendations to others considering Kallidus:**

Consider it! Great customer service team and ease of use of system has been great.

**What problems is Kallidus solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were having workflow issues which Sapling helped to solve. It also helped us prep new hires and collect forms before day one, which allowed us to introduce them to their team, the organization, and complete required forms so they could come in on day one ready to go. The ease of use of having the documents signed within the system has been very helpful. It also reduced the number of paper forms we had to collect, which goes in line with our mission. Save the trees!

When I first started with my current company, I was onboarding completely remotely. Using Sapling throughout this process was invaluable, because it gave me a visual overview of my onboarding tasks that were due in the upcoming days and weeks, allowed me to see an overview of my new team, and gave me a reference point for any important HR information.

**What do you dislike about Kallidus?**

While Sapling is helpful, I do feel as though we have to use other softwares in addition to Sapling to supplement the HR onboarding process. It is not a "one stop shop" for all my HR needs.

**What problems is Kallidus solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ongoing ability to view tasks that need to be completed and a quick reference point for tasks I have already completed.

nothing so far. The whole app is user-unfriendly (Ex. if you need to Search for 'people' definitely do not click on 'Search People".  You have to click the mag glass and type in the name.  It's fine, but why even have a Find People option when it doesn't work

Also customer service is pretty thin and unreliable

Would like more options and alerting around integrations. It doesn't happen often but we've had integrations stop working and it would be nice to get alerts that they need attention.

It would also be nice to get alerts if, for some reason, integrations actions fail. If account creation fails we have not direct way of knowing.

This may be a restriction in the Google API, but occasionally account creation will fail if its attempted to create a Google user that an alias exists for

The most helpful thing about Sapling is how it keeps the team behind our onboarding program organized. You're able to create custom checklists and invite other stakeholders including managers and new hires into the process. It has a great user interface for new hires and allows for pre-boarders to get to know the organization better with a historical timeline and team.

**What do you dislike about Kallidus?**

Not a ton of flexibility to add to the new hire experience as they are going through the organization's history. While there is point in time reporting, it would be great to have a preview of reports without having to download to csv or Google Sheets.

Make sure you have your checklist templates drafted in a document before implementing.

Repeatable and flexible checklists makes onboarding easy to complete on the back end.

In the employees profile I can view where they are located and when they started.

I don't like that it isn't easy to find  direct reports of managers. When I do a search for a user in the People tab I can find the employees manager but if that person is a manager I am unable to find who reports to them. Also if there are others in the group you can't tell the persons position by hovering over the picture icon.

It is a good software to use for HR. but when I am trying to find team members in the same group, it isn't that easy.

**What do you like best about Kallidus?**

The centralised repository of onboarding tasks and documents are both easy to consult and access. The platform ensures efficient communication with HR and eliminates a back-and-forth regarding tasks yet to be completed. Furthermore, Sapling is often the first platform to access as a new hire. As such, the onboarding starting with a welcoming note of the CEO, the history of the company being visualized in a timeline, videos was a pleasant experience. Lastly, the "people" section gives you the opportunity to explore different departments and meet your new team.

**What do you dislike about Kallidus?**

Apart from the initial onboarding experience, I do not find myself consulting Sapling regularly. In my opinion, although the current features are working fine, I'd add more engaging features which would draw more traffic to the platform.

It's a centralised place to consult HR-specific documents, and it gives you a good overview of the company structure, departments and colleagues.

It's not intuitive. I spend too much time (and nerves) looking for functionalities. 
When you log in, the main screen is completely useless!
"Profile" do not gather useful informations on Employe. 
Logging session is too short! I need to log in 20 times per day! It's annoying!

Having just on-boarding module without HR module is pretty much useless.
