I can lock confidential exit and wellbeing feedback behind tiered user permissions so only core HR can view sensitive personnel data. The dedicated HR reporting engine segments feedback by department, staff tenure and role automatically, producing ready-to-share trend dashboards I present to team leads and our works council without tedious spreadsheet cross-checking each month. Most compliance-focused survey text is only available in English; auto-translations read awkwardly and don’t align with formal German HR terminology. There’s no native connector for DATEV, Germany’s standard payroll system, which means every batch of survey data has to be exported and imported via CSV manually. The platform also doesn’t offer any pre-built templates for Betriebsrat consultation surveys, so I have to build every works council feedback questionnaire completely from scratch every time. Before we adopted Kallidus, we split employee feedback across messy Excel trackers and basic generic survey tools. There was no consistent audit trail, and compiling unified insights for labour compliance audits took days of manual work. Now all onboarding, exit and engagement feedback lives on one single platform. Pre-made HR questionnaires cut down survey build time significantly, while automated reporting generates audit-ready analytics in minutes. I was able to implement this pretty much on my own over the course of a few days. We didn't have any other system to transition from. In general, the training with the team was bang on and informative. BEST THING... embedded videos ya'll. I like the simple UI. Integrates easy with Google. What I think most HR systems miss, is that they are build with the HR person as the user, but here is the thing. EMPLOYEES who can do more, will reduce the impact on HR, which is really solving the problem. What do you dislike about Kallidus? The time off part was a bit more trickier than I would have liked, but the UI is great. Missing functionality is putting people on "leave" with appropriate workflows from there. I'm sure it's coming through. Wish they had an LMS part of the platform or some Performance stuff, issue with the performance stuff is the out of the box stuff available, rarely fits a company and is hard to develop.
