The smart planning and optimization tools are a big win. Although I don't remember the module name, I log in to record work done on A/C, which helps us see how much work is left. It also assists in the inventory of parts and materials and tracking tooling. I like SAP Transportation Management for its functionality and numerous features and transactions, which significantly expand the range of tasks I can perform. The promptness of data retrieval is especially valuable, as it speeds up my work. The Fiori launchpad facilitates the creation and modification of shipments, planning, and monitoring, accelerating processes. I also appreciate the new CDS for transportation, especially for the ability to have a complete history of statuses and events for both sea and air transport. What do you dislike about SAP Transportation Management? There is no ready CDS for air cargo awb tracking, which forces us to work with external systems. This creates inconveniences and requires additional resources. What I appreciate most is how straightforward it is to track our shipments and monitor deliveries. There’s no need to dig through multiple screens to find the information you need. The dashboards are well-organized, and I was able to get comfortable with the system after just a few uses. Setting everything up did require some collaboration between our team and IT, and we encountered a few issues with older data formats, but nothing that caused major delays. I also found customer support to be very responsive, they were quick to join calls whenever we ran into problems, which I really valued. We rely on this tool almost daily, especially during our busiest shipping periods. There are plenty of features included, and I’m still discovering new ones, but I like having route planning and cost tracking options available in one place. Another big plus is how well it integrates with our other SAP tools, so I don’t have to waste time re-entering information. Instead of chasing down emails or wondering where a truck is, I can simply check the dashboard for updates. This has removed much of the confusion from tracking shipments, planning routes, and managing costs. Previously, we relied on spreadsheets and had to gather information from various sources, which sometimes led to things slipping through the cracks. Now, I have a much clearer overview of all our shipments. It’s much easier to notice if something is delayed or needs to be adjusted, and we save a lot of time by not having to update everything manually. Integrating with our other SAP applications has reduced errors and improved our reporting, allowing us to make decisions more quickly. Overall, it’s made the whole process much less stressful.
