"Simplifies Carbon Footprint Management with Visual Insights"
4/5
What do you like best about SAP Sustainability Footprint Management?

I really appreciate the graphic breakdown feature of SAP Sustainability Footprint Management. It provides a visual representation of both inputs and outputs relating to various aspects like manufacturing, power use, energy use, and transport emissions. This feature presents complex data in a clear, simple way that is understandable to anyone, making it ideal for sharing within our organization. I find it particularly useful for informing the entire business about our environmental initiatives through newsletters, showcasing the progress in a manner that everyone can easily comprehend. I also value its straightforward setup process, as it functions independently, allowing us to seamlessly input our data. The flexibility of this tool is commendable, catering to the specific needs of different organizational structures. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Sustainability Footprint Management?

I suppose potentially the accuracy of the data because what we put in tends to be quite vague and then we get very definite figures out. Over time, that sort of thing will improve, but if you know great detail about what you're inputting, you'll get more accurate data out the other end. Something that helps make that process easier for things like transport can only make it more accurate and then it's more useful to us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Insightful Tool for Managing Sustainability Data"
4.5/5
What do you like best about SAP Sustainability Footprint Management?

I really like SAP Sustainability Footprint Management because it integrates sustainability data directly with operational and financial processes. The automated calculations and clear dashboards make tracking performance effortless and highlight areas for improvement effectively. This integration ensures that sustainability metrics are tied to real business activities, providing a comprehensive, accurate view of our environmental impact. The dashboards offer significant transparency, helping me to communicate progress with stakeholders and align sustainability goals seamlessly with our overall business strategy. The visual breakdown of emissions by source and process is particularly beneficial, as it helps prioritize actions based on the biggest impacts. Additionally, the trend analysis features are invaluable for tracking progress over time, allowing me to demonstrate improvements effectively to management and external stakeholders. The setup was user-friendly, especially for SAP-connected systems, with guided setup and documentation aiding in configuring data sources and defining emission factors smoothly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Sustainability Footprint Management?

I find some data integrations to be complex, especially when pulling information from non-SAP systems. There is also a need for more flexibility in customizing reports and expanding industry-specific templates, which would make the tool even more effective. The current approach can limit the ease with which insights can be tailored for different audiences. Additionally, having more prebuilt connectors and easier mapping options for external data sources would reduce the need for manual setup. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
