It gives alerts for system errors which is very useful as manual monitoring is tedious and error prone. Our entire SAP landscape is managed centrally from solution manager which integrates with Solution manager very nicely. Patch and upgrade has streamlined with this being single interface for all syncing across entire landscape. Solution manager is the platform for raising a ticket for any issue with the SAP landscape. The implementation and deployment is very time taking and complex. Initially, we used to receive a lot of unnecessary alerts and it took some time to improve and get specific alerts. We are managing our entire SAP landscape via solman, and all tickets are raised via solman for support from SAP. It is an application that allows us to obtain the maximum value from our SAP solution as a company. It is a standard option that allows you to manage the life cycle of various commercial and marketing processes. The SAP solutions that are implemented are diverse and in different teams, he is a good general manager who streamlines the point of sale, you manage to adequately monitor the products offered. This is a standard software to manage the lifecycle of a number of different business processes. Since most businesses use a number of SAP solutions implemented across a variety of different teams, this is a good general one stop shop to keep track of products. It is a bit overcomplicated and proves difficult to navigate. The web based userface was supposed to be one of the benefits of this software solution but I'm still personally having trouble with it. I really like the solution it offers as far as the whole suite is concerned. Before solution manager came into place, it was extremely hard to manage end to end SAP lifecycle.
