"Organized, Transparent Sales Workflow with Excellent Pipeline Visibility"
5/5
What do you like best about SAP Sales Cloud?

What I like best about SAP Sales Cloud is how it keeps my entire sales workflow organized and transparent. Everything I need leads, opportunities, customer details, follow-ups, and activities is available in one place, which makes it easier for me to stay on track.

I especially like the pipeline visibility, because I can clearly see which deals are in progress, what stage they are at, and what actions are pending. It helps me prioritize my work better and ensures I don’t miss important follow-ups.

Overall, the best part for me is that it brings structure and clarity to my daily sales activities and improves my efficiency. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Sales Cloud?

What I dislike about SAP Sales Cloud is that it can sometimes feel slow and heavy, especially when I’m using multiple tabs or modules at the same time. This can affect the overall user experience, particularly during busy working hours.

I also find the platform a bit complex for new users, and it takes time to fully understand the workflow and features. At times, updating information or moving between sections doesn’t feel as smooth as I would expect, which can make everyday tasks feel more cumbersome. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Robust Automation"

What do you like best about SAP Sales Cloud?

What I like best about SAP Sales Cloud is its robust automation for complex sales operations. The territory management and lead routing features are highly efficient, ensuring that the right opportunities reach the right teams instantly. Additionally, the real-time analytics and deep integration with the broader SAP ecosystem provide a single source of truth that makes sales forecasting much more accurate and actionable for our leadership team Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Sales Cloud?

One challenge is that the user interface can feel a bit dated and less intuitive compared to more modern CRMs, which sometimes leads to a steeper learning curve for new users. Additionally, the initial configuration and customization process can be quite complex and time-consuming, often requiring specialized technical knowledge or external consultants to get everything perfectly aligned with our specific business workflows Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Sales Management with Room for Improvement"
4/5
What do you like best about SAP Sales Cloud?

I mainly use SAP Sales Cloud to stay on top of my customer interactions and manage sales opportunities more smoothly. It helps me keep everything organized in one place, makes forecasting easier, and allows me to collaborate better with my team, which really improves my day-to-day workflow. I like how it naturally brings everything together in one place, making tracking customer interactions and managing opportunities feel effortless. The clear pipeline view helps me stay focused and organized throughout the day. I also use SAP Sales Cloud along with email tools and a few other integrations to keep everything in sync. It fits in well with my existing setup and helps me manage my work more smoothly. The initial setup was fairly smooth overall, and once everything was in place, it became much easier to use and adapt to my specific needs. When I was part of a mid-sized company, it helped us stay organized, manage customer information better, and improve coordination between different departments. I'd recommend SAP Sales Cloud, as it is a reliable and useful tool for managing sales activities and customer data, really helping to improve productivity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Sales Cloud?

One thing I’ve noticed is that the interface can feel a bit overwhelming at first, and it takes some time to get comfortable with it. I also feel some features, like report customization and navigation, could be more straightforward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Complex Sales with Room for UI Improvement"
3/5
What do you like best about SAP Sales Cloud?

I like how SAP Sales Cloud deeply aligns with the complex, long-cycle workflows of our industrial machinery and automation business. It acts as a central coordination layer beyond just being a sales tool, storing detailed technical specifications and linking customer requirements to quotation and project workflows, maintaining full traceability throughout the sales cycle. I also value the strong enterprise-grade data structure and compliance framework, essential for GDPR standards in Germany. The product configuration capabilities, custom workflow automation, and cross-departmental collaboration features stand out to me. The product and pricing configuration tools map our entire modular automation equipment lineup, eliminating manual errors from spreadsheets and ensuring sales don't promise specs that engineering can't deliver. The custom workflow and approval engine is transformative, automating processes when a quote reaches certain criteria, tracking every step and ensuring everything is enforced and auditable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Sales Cloud?

While SAP Sales Cloud works well for our industrial automation workflows, there are several areas that feel cumbersome or could be significantly improved for day-to-day use. First, the user interface feels quite dated and overly complex, especially for team members who only use the system occasionally — like field service technicians or junior engineering staff. Simple actions such as updating project technical details, attaching documentation, or logging site visit notes take too many clicks. The layout isn’t very intuitive, so onboarding new users takes longer than necessary. Second, customization often requires deep technical knowledge or SAP specialist support. Although we can adapt workflows to our machinery project processes, making even moderate changes — like adding custom fields for automation component specifications or modifying approval chains — can be difficult without dedicated IT help. This slows down our ability to quickly adjust the system to new project types. Beyond the UI and customization hurdles, there are a few key areas where SAP Sales Cloud could really improve to better serve industrial machinery and automation companies like ours. First, better native support for technical documentation and engineering files would be huge. We regularly work with CAD files, technical datasheets, system diagrams, and automation schematics, but the platform’s attachment and preview functions are basic. Large files often upload slowly, and there’s no proper version control or quick preview for technical drawings. Built-in integration with common engineering document management systems would save us a lot of manual file handling. Second, more flexible and automation-friendly reporting tailored to manufacturing and project timelines would help a lot. Right now, reports focus mostly on standard sales metrics like revenue and conversion rates, but we need better ways to link sales data to engineering capacity, component lead times, and production schedules. More customizable dashboards that combine sales pipeline with project delivery milestones would let us plan much more accurately. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Robust CRM with Seamless SAP Integration"
4/5
What do you like best about SAP Sales Cloud?

I really like SAP Sales Cloud for its deep integration with other SAP solutions, especially SAP S/4HANA. This integration is invaluable as it lets us create quotes, orders, and pricing checks directly within the CRM without having to switch systems, which is crucial for speed in our B2B environment. I also find the robust reporting and dashboards very useful for monitoring sales performance and identifying bottlenecks early. Lastly, SAP Sales Cloud has provided a single source of truth for all account and opportunity data, reducing manual work and improving team collaboration, allowing us to make data-driven decisions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Sales Cloud?

The user interface can feel overly complex for occasional users, and some standard actions require too many clicks. Tasks like creating a follow-up task or updating a simple opportunity stage often involve navigating through multiple menus, which slows down our sales reps. Customization can also be technical and time-consuming without dedicated admin support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"SAP Sales Cloud Unifies Sales Data with Powerful Analytics and Real-Time Insights"
5/5
What do you like best about SAP Sales Cloud?

What stands out most about SAP Sales Cloud is how it brings sales activities together in one integrated, data-driven system. It centralizes customer information, interactions, and the sales pipeline in a single place, making it much easier to track leads, manage opportunities, and maintain strong customer relationships.

A major advantage is its deep integration with the broader SAP ecosystem, which helps businesses connect sales with marketing, service, and ERP data to get a more complete view of the customer. It also provides strong analytics and forecasting tools, enabling sales teams to make better-informed decisions and focus on high-value opportunities. Overall, what I like most is the way it combines structure, automation, and real-time insights to improve efficiency and support more strategic selling. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Sales Cloud?

What I dislike about SAP Sales Cloud mostly comes down to complexity and day-to-day usability. The platform can feel heavy and not very intuitive, especially for new users, so there’s often a steep learning curve and a real need for training to get people comfortable. Customization is powerful, but it can also be complicated and may require technical expertise or extra support, which can make it feel less flexible for smaller teams. Performance can be slow at times, particularly when working with large datasets, and the user interface doesn’t always feel as modern or as user-friendly as some other CRM tools. On top of that, it can be expensive—especially once you factor in implementation and ongoing maintenance—so it may not be the best fit for smaller businesses. "Centralized CRM Enhances Workflow but Can Feel Cumbersome"
4/5
What do you like best about SAP Sales Cloud?

I like how SAP Sales Cloud gives us complete end-to-end visibility and control over our entire B2B sales cycle, and it integrates seamlessly with our existing SAP backend systems, which is invaluable for a regulated, process-focused market. I appreciate the unified customer data; everything lives in one place, so we don't waste time searching across spreadsheets or emails. The strong pipeline and forecasting capabilities are detailed enough for complex B2B deals and help us make data-driven decisions. The seamless integration with other SAP solutions eliminates errors and speeds up quoting and order processing, making cross-departmental handoffs more efficient. These features directly improve our sales efficiency, forecast accuracy, compliance, and customer experience, making SAP Sales Cloud a foundational tool for our business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Sales Cloud?

One of the biggest pain points is the user interface and overall usability. The system feels heavy and sometimes slow; navigation can be unintuitive, with many clicks needed to reach common functions like updating opportunities, logging activities, or finding customer details. New team members often need significant training to get fully productive, which adds onboarding time. Customization is another area that could be better. While the platform is highly configurable, many adjustments require technical support or consulting help—simple changes to layouts, fields, or dashboards aren’t always user-friendly for non-technical admins. This makes it harder to adapt quickly to our changing sales processes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about SAP Sales Cloud?

I really like how SAP Sales Cloud integrates with our existing SAP ERP and backend systems, creating a unified lead-to-cash process that eliminates data silos between sales, operations, and finance. This gives us a single, accurate view of customers, orders, and transactions. Its enterprise-grade scalability and reliability are essential, handling high data volumes and complex sales processes with consistent stability across the DACH region. I appreciate the built-in GDPR and data security capabilities that align with strict German data protection requirements, allowing us to confidently manage customer data and compliance. The advanced sales forecasting and pipeline analytics provide actionable insights for more informed decision-making and improved planning accuracy. The customization options for workflows and fields also let us tailor the system to our specific business needs while maintaining a secure and compliant environment. What do you dislike about SAP Sales Cloud?

While SAP Sales Cloud delivers strong enterprise-level performance, there are a few areas that could be improved. Some of the standard user interface elements feel less intuitive compared to modern cloud tools, which can slow down daily adoption for sales team members without specialized training. Customizing workflows or adding new fields often requires more technical configuration time and support than expected, making quick adjustments more complex. What do you dislike about SAP Sales Cloud?
