What I like best about SAP Fieldglass is how effectively it manages external workforce and services procurement in one place. It gives clear visibility into contingent labor, which makes tracking vendors, contracts, and workforce utilization much easier. The automation around onboarding, approvals, and compliance reduces a lot of manual effort and improves process speed. Overall, it helps bring structure and control to what is usually a very complex external workforce management process.

What I dislike about SAP Fieldglass is that the interface can feel a bit complex and not very intuitive for new users. It takes time to understand the workflows and navigation. Also, configuration and initial setup can be heavy and may require proper training or support. Sometimes reporting flexibility also feels limited without deeper customization.

The tool is very good anyone and hover over the SAP fieldglass and can understand the option available. The interface quite interactive and look and fill and ease to use.

Sometime it's not able to login due to I guess server issue, so my suggestion would be please work on interface so that it will work fast and seamless.

Easy to find active requisitions and submitting profiles against same. Tracking and sending updates to hiring manager/Team is very easy and coinvent . Also feature to Integrate with ATS is amazing option. I use this tool daily for my client hiring needs.

Nothing as such. It’s good to use, and I’d recommend it to everyone. Sometimes it responds very slowly, though—maybe it’s a server issue or something; I’m not really sure.

**What do you like best about SAP Fieldglass?**

What I like best is how it centralizes our contingent workforce management. It's really helpful for tracking contractors from initial request through invoicing. The SOW management module works well, giving us a clear overview of project-based work. It's pretty solid for keeping everything in one place.

**What do you dislike about SAP Fieldglass?**

The biggest downside is probably the user interface; it can feel a bit dated and kind of clunky to navigate at times. It took a bit to figure out some of the more niche functions. And sometimes the reporting features aren't as intuitive as I'd like.

SAP Fieldglass is solving our problem of scattered external worker data and manual tracking. Before, we had spreadsheets everywhere for contingent staff and vendor SOWs. I feel that SAP Fieldglass has the coolest interface among other VMS tools. It consolidates everything in one place, making managing vendors, workers, and approvals much more organized compared to doing it manually or using different tools. The visibility feature really stands out, allowing me to see what's happening in real time with timecards, approvals, and worker status, which reduces confusion and follow-ups. The structure of the workflow is quite streamlined, saving time especially during approvals, as I can easily track where things are stuck and who needs to take action. The initial setup is relatively easy, and I appreciate having all the details in one tool, which eases invoicing issues and vendor onboarding. It helps manage integrations from SAP to SAP HR efficiently, with all data centralized, supported by smooth graphics. It's overall a great tool that has significantly simplified day-to-day work.

Sometimes, SAP Fieldglass has glitches like when a supplier was not getting the timecard and rate option while submitting a worker to SOW, which required us to create a ticket to resolve it. Another thing is the reporting time; exporting a big report takes a lot of time.

I find SAP Fieldglass very helpful for managing freelancers, as it simplifies tasks that were tough when done manually. I particularly like how easy it is to manage tax and labor laws, which is crucial for me since I have workers from different regions. It makes those tasks manageable, whereas I couldn't track them manually. Also, I found the initial setup and guidance to be pretty easy, even for someone not into tech. Everything about the platform feels fine to me.

It is mostly used for contractors and if I make them as full-time employees then I am not able to manage them properly. Providing dedicated structure to manage full-time employees or long-term employees as well.

I like that I can see invoices and timecards directly in the portal. Being able to pull timeclock punches in the portal helps me pay my employee on a timely basis, without waiting for the onsite manager to send them to me. Pulling invoices directly from the portal helps with time efficiency, instead of waiting for the onsite manager to send to me.

The UI is very techy, meaning some of my colleagues have difficulty navigating it. The help section of the portal is so extensive, that if you ask for support in one thing, you'll have to read multiple help 'articles' which takes time and the articles are lengthy. It makes no sense, a work order is typically work ordered that needs to be completed. It sounds like they are just using fancy words. Not easy at all. As we were invited to use this as an outside vendor, we received no training. Again, we have to go to the help section and read dozens of pages just to understand simple functions in the system.

I liked the admin navigation and reporting module in SAP Fieldglass. The user interface is very good, making it easy to make any admin changes. For reporting, the user interface is also very good, and it's easy to create and schedule reports.

I observed some integrations were not working while invoice is transferred to other system or master data integration. It's somewhat difficult to set up initially, but we used helpful guides and performed very well.

One of its biggest strengths is visibility. Companies can see all their contractors, freelancers, and service providers in one place, along with spending, contracts, and performance. That level of transparency is hard to get when everything is scattered across spreadsheets and emails.

**What do you dislike about SAP Fieldglass?**

This is probably the most common complaint. Initial setup can be time-consuming and resource-heavy, especially if your company doesn’t already have strong IT support.  
Even after implementation, configuring workflows and integrations can feel like a project in itself.

Before Fieldglass, external labor data is usually a "black box" of PDFs and manual invoices. What researchers like best is the centralized data model. It provides a consistent schema for every contractor, gig worker, and SOW (Statement of Work) consultant. For your analysis, this means you don’t have to spend hours normalizing data from five different vendors just to see your total project spend.

For an analyst who wants to get in, pull data, and get out, the UI can feel unnecessarily noisy. It often requires multiple tabs and deep-menu navigation to reach specific data points.
