"Centralized Risk Management with Powerful Automation, But Setup Can Be Complex"
3.5/5
What do you like best about SAP Risk and Assurance Management?

The best thing about SAP Risk and Assurance Management is how it centralizes all risk controls and compliance activities in one dashboard. It makes tracking, managing, and reporting on risks much more straightforward, and also helps with audit preparation since everything is organized and easy to find. The automation features save a lot of time compared to doing things manually. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Risk and Assurance Management?

One thing I dislike about SAP Risk and Assurance Management is that setting up the controls and workflows can be a bit complex and time-consuming, especially at the beginning. Some features require extra training to use effectively, and the interface could be more intuitive for new users. Also, customizing certain reports sometimes needs technical support or help from IT. "Complex Setup, Yet Essential for Risk Management"
5/5
What do you like best about SAP Risk and Assurance Management?

I appreciate how SAP Risk and Assurance Management simplifies the digitalization and transformation process, which is crucial for real-time decision-making and provides predictive insights. The tool acts as a modulator in identifying and resolving risks before they become major issues, thereby preserving business value. It aligns all stakeholders on a single risk taxonomy, ensuring consistency in risk management. Additionally, its ability to ensure real-time integration with S/4HANA enhances its value and utility. Overall, these features greatly contribute to its effectiveness as a compliance tool in risk management and internal control. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Risk and Assurance Management?

I find the initial setup of SAP Risk and Assurance Management complex and challenging. The implementation requires a substantial level of expertise, either internally or from external experts. Continuous monitoring is necessary, adding to the complexity. During the initial setup, aligning all stakeholders on a single risk taxonomy and resolving role-authority conflicts during workflow testing present difficulties. Additionally, ensuring real-time integration with SAP S/4HANA and related modules like SAP Process Control and SAP Audit Management, particularly in data mapping and testing, is time-consuming and the most difficult aspect.
