Well generally speaking it is very helpful I used it for a company making commercial used industrial products for their customers and SAP really helped in ensuring the proper design of the product and manufacturing procedures/techniques in compliance with sustainability, quality, safety, environmental etc. requirements. Since my work was mostly on PLM and PP modules, it really helped me to manage the product data from design stage to the end production stage including the design changes according to the standards ensuring the feasibility of design in terms of environmental and safety aspects.
