It requires very in-depth integration between modules like joint venture accounting and production revenue accounting. The master data of joint ventures, wells, and other oil and gas master data are not included in the delivered solutions from SAP Master Data Governance. It's a great way to link upstream processes to SAP, ensuring that necessary validations are processed and completed before the creation of vendor and material masters in ERP. I also like that our SAP PLM raw materials connect to MDG, allowing spec data to flow into MDG for additional procurement-related data addition and vetting, leading to the creation of clean (golden) master data.
