I truly appreciate SAP Integration Suite for its unified integration platform, which consolidates everything from APIs, iFlows, events, to B2B monitoring in one place. This setup significantly reduces the hassle of tool switching, providing a single pane of control that makes managing integrations much more streamlined. I particularly admire its deep SAP connectivity, which, thanks to pre-built SAP adapters, enhances the speed and consistency of integrations compared to generic IPAS tools. The Suite’s elastic scaling, automatic updates, and zero infrastructure management capabilities make it so easy to manage high volume integrations efficiently, showcasing its cloud-native and scalable nature. Additionally, the hundreds of ready-to-use iFlows, APIs, mappings, and connectors available in the APIs business hub are major time savers, drastically simplifying our workflows. What do you dislike about SAP Integration Suite? I find the monitoring and troubleshooting tools in SAP Integration Suite could be more intuitive and detailed. This lack hampers efficient problem resolution. The developer experience also requires enhancement, especially concerning performance and version control. These aspects are crucial for seamless development operations. Additionally, the transformation tools lack modern features and flexibility, which is necessary for keeping pace with evolving business needs. The availability of more prebuilt connectors and easier development of custom adapters would add significant value, streamlining integration processes and reducing development time. I love SAP Integration Suite's robust capabilities for integrating with multiple systems like Sonic, Vision Plus, S4HANA, data lakes, and Azure. This seamless integration is crucial for sending and receiving large data files efficiently, including master and transactional data. I appreciate its ability to hold messages securely until they are successfully delivered, which prevents any data loss during the process. The BTP mesh technology is particularly valuable as it ensures failed messages are stored and no information is lost, adding a layer of reliability and peace of mind. Furthermore, the platform supports cloud level data storage and quick data transfer, facilitating efficient data handling and storage. The development of AI for more efficient data segregation adds another dimension of efficiency. I also find the initial setup user-friendly, especially with the drag-and-drop functionality that simplifies the creation of workflows. Additionally, the move from SAP PI/PO to SAP BTP was beneficial due to the enhanced performance in data transfer with S4HANA.
