Developers also note that the interface is slow and the learning curve of the integration platform is high because it is built on proprietary SAP logic instead of open standards. In addition, due to the lack of native debugging capabilities and advanced Git-like capabilities of version control, when a development team is troubleshooting a problem together or modifying their code in real-time, the developer's ability to effectively work on the integration project will be slowed or limited compared to modern cloud-native alternatives. The consultants that configure SAP Integration Suite are a challenge. Initially, a partner set it up and made errors like creating ERP users as dialog instead of system user. I appreciate how SAP Integration Suite simplifies building and managing integrations with its user-friendly features. The prebuilt adapters significantly speed up the integration process, allowing me to deliver connections between systems quickly and efficiently. I find the clear monitoring tools invaluable for easily troubleshooting any issues that arise, helping maintain smooth operations. The easy-to-use integration flow designer is another standout, as it enables me to construct integration flows swiftly without unnecessary complexity. The Suite's guided wizards and prebuilt templates were incredibly helpful during the initial setup, allowing me to get integrations running rapidly. What do you dislike about SAP Integration Suite? I find the UI can feel slow at times, particularly when loading or editing large integration flows. Debugging complex flows isn't always intuitive, as it could benefit from more detailed logs and a step-by-step execution process.
