5/5
What do you like best about SAP Integrated Business Planning?

What I appreciate most about SAP Integrated Business Planning is how effectively it brings together and simplifies planning processes across various departments. This level of integration provides real-time access to data, fosters better collaboration, and strengthens decision-making, all of which contribute to improved business results. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Integrated Business Planning?

SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) is a robust solution for business planning, yet it comes with notable drawbacks. Many users struggle with the system's complexity and the steep learning curve, which are frequently mentioned as significant challenges. Navigating the software can be cumbersome, and the user interface may not feel as intuitive as some would prefer. Furthermore, the substantial costs associated with both implementation and ongoing maintenance can pose a considerable obstacle for certain organizations. These aspects may make SAP IBP less suitable for those seeking a simpler and more affordable planning tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

4.5/5
What do you like best about SAP Integrated Business Planning?

SAP Integrated Business Planning stands out because it integrates strongly with other SAP systems and centralizes planning processes on a single platform. Its real-time data visibility and scenario-planning capabilities help make decision-making faster and more accurate. What do you dislike about SAP Integrated Business Planning?

One of the main drawbacks of SAP Integrated Business Planning is its complexity, particularly during the initial setup and configuration. The implementation process can be time-consuming and often requires specialized knowledge or support from external consultants. Performance can also be slow at times when working with large datasets, especially through the Excel add-ins. In addition, the user interface is not always intuitive, and troubleshooting problems can be difficult without strong SAP expertise. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy-to-Navigate Interface"
4.5/5
What do you like best about SAP Integrated Business Planning?

I like the interface. I find it easy to navigate. Especially on the laptop and computer screen. This may be because of my eye problems, but for me that feature that is the upside of SAP Integrated Business Planning. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Integrated Business Planning?

Least helpful side is when I need to access it on my phone but the tiles are stacked in that view. I just find that not user-friendly for enough for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Strong Integrated Platform, Still Missing Key CPG Capabilities"
3.5/5
What do you like best about SAP Integrated Business Planning?

Works well as an integrated software platform

S4 Hana and SCC is pretty much tightly integrated.

Finite heuristics and RTI is good

Order based planning really works well but needs more support for flexible product hierarchy Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Integrated Business Planning?

Still does not have all capabilities for CPG companies like versioning up

Need more tools for batch monitoring

Joule should be made available in all areas of the application as a standard product and not a paid service

Better flexible product hierarchy would be great

Simulation on job runs to identify missing master data would be great to have Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful Collaboration & Forecasting, but Needs a More Intuitive Workflow"
3.5/5
What do you like best about SAP Integrated Business Planning?

The best part is the collaboration and forecasting workflow. It helps different teams plan together, compare versions, and run what-if scenarios. Reporting and exceptions make it easier to focus on the biggest issues rather than digging through spreadsheets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Integrated Business Planning?

It’s powerful but not always intuitive. Training is needed before users feel confident, and some workflows require too many clicks. Error messages and troubleshooting can be unclear, so resolving issues can take longer than it should. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
