"Great Features, But UI Needs Improvement"
4/5
What do you like best about SAP Global Trade Services?

What I appreciate most about SAP Global Trade Services is the wide range of options and flexibility it provides. The system offers many different ways to configure processes, adapt workflows, and tailor the solution to the specific needs of an organization. Whether it’s managing compliance, handling documentation, or tracking product movement across borders, GTS gives you the tools to build a setup that fits your operational reality. This versatility makes it a powerful platform for companies with complex or evolving trade requirements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Global Trade Services?

For me, the main drawback is the user interface. While the system is functional and reliable, the UI feels a bit outdated and could be more intuitive. Some screens require too many clicks, and navigating between different areas isn’t always as smooth as it could be. A more modern, streamlined interface would make daily work faster and more pleasant, especially for users who interact with the system frequently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"SAP GTS: Streamlining Operations & Boosting Efficiency"
4.5/5
What do you like best about SAP Global Trade Services?

I love how SAP Global Trade Services is a well-integrated business software system. It saves time, making our company and team more efficient. It also helps save costs for the business since we don't have to pay for multiple software services. I appreciate having much better information dissemination to our distributors, with access to production, pricing, marketing, and commercial teams. The test environments feature is really useful when trying out new methods of processing information; you can test without affecting actual orders. I also enjoy how it integrates all processes, automatically populating data that would otherwise be input manually, which means I don't have to cram all pieces of data as it retrieves that information. "Strong platform Integration marred by occasional performance Issues"
4/5
What do you like best about SAP Global Trade Services?

The best aspect of SAP Global Trade Services is the seamless connection between different platforms. This integration significantly streamlines our import/export operations by allowing us to manage multiple systems from a centralized interface. The unified data flow reduces manual data entry errors and improves efficiency across our global trade management processes. The platform consolidates supplier information, regulatory requirements, and shipping documentation in one place, which is invaluable for our team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Global Trade Services?

The primary area for improvement is occasional lagging and performance issues during peak usage times. When processing large import/export batches or accessing complex regulatory data, the system sometimes experiences delays that can impact productivity. Additionally, the user interface could benefit from more intuitive navigation, and some legacy integrations with older trade systems require manual workarounds. Better performance optimization and streamlined UI design would significantly enhance the user experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Global Trade Services?

Although SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) excels at core compliance, its high complexity, steep learning curve, and significant costs for implementation and maintenance, as well as its less-than-intuitive user interface (UI) and difficulties with **inflexibility** once set up, draw criticism. What do you like best about SAP Global Trade Services?

With 2026 version, I absolutely love the Joule-powered AI classification because it actually "reads" my product data and suggests the right codes, which saves my teams from the soul-crushing task of manually looking up thousands of tariff numbers Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Global Trade Services?

It’s the classic SAP trade-off: we get world-class security, but we pay for it with a steep learning curve and a "migration tax" that makes every update feel like a major construction project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Strong Security and Easy Digitalization for Complex Tasks"
4/5
What do you like best about SAP Global Trade Services?

It offers strong security, with direct involvement from the customs authority. The digitalization makes it easy to use, and it can manage complex tasks without much effort. It also helps with financial savings thanks to its automatic processes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Global Trade Services?

High costs of entry — It’s an expensive product, which often puts it out of reach for mid-market companies. The configuration is extensive, and if you get the initial design wrong, making changes later can feel like trying to turn a container ship: it takes a lot of time and effort.
