"A powerful platform that makes customer engagement simple and effective"
5/5
What do you like best about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

Emarsys makes it very easy to manage complex customer journeys across multiple channels. The automation flows are intuitive to set up, and the reporting gives clear insight into performance. I especially like how user-friendly the segmentation tools are — it’s quick to target the right customers and personalise campaigns. The support team is responsive and helpful, which makes onboarding and daily use much smoother. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

There can be a learning curve at the start if you’re new to automation platforms, and some advanced features take time to fully understand. The reporting dashboards could be more customizable, and occasionally the interface feels a little slow when handling large datasets. These are small issues compared to the overall value it provides. "Versatile with excellent support, minor catalog issues"
4/5
What do you like best about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

I like the diverse possibilities and the background services at SAP Emarsys. The support and customizations are particularly useful, as you can directly solve any problems that arise. It is helpful that you can continuously adapt and, with a growing company, further personalize campaigns and all possible topics or take them to the next level. What do you dislike about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

Sometimes there were problems with the product catalogs. The synchronization caused some difficulties, but I think the problem is solved again. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great Support and UI, but Reporting and API Limitations Need Improvement"
2.5/5
What do you like best about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

Customer Support: The agents are quick to respond, insightful, and willing to provide not only a solution but guidance.

Platform Navigation: The UI is well laid out and intuitive.

Setting up new accounts is relatively easy, with the Project Management office being helpful and guiding through the process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

Reporting: The reporting tools, whilst there, offer email specific reporting or trends for all emails. It will be best to have a fully functional reporting tool to customise reporting metrics and selecting specific email campaigns.

Release Changes: We are not informed when releases are taking place, which has caused setup grievances.

API throughput: We have to carefully manage our throughput due to API limitations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful Marketing Automation, But Pricey and Integration Can Be Tricky"
4/5
What do you like best about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

Easy to use programs that run on it´s own, knowledge and know-how gathered from a huge amount of companies and countries, data driven marketing tools that reach out to the clients with the proper message at the right time, easy and quick support, great account manager who is dedicated and engaged in making sure the tools are being used in the best possible way, lots of interesting seminars. What do you dislike about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

I feel like I have bought a Porsche car that I am using only in gear 3. Maybe it would be a good idea to split some of the functions and make it possible to buy less and to grow into more functions as you develop as a company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great Personalization and Automation, But Integration Can Be Challenging"
3.5/5
What do you like best about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

What I particularly like about SAP Emarsys are the strong personalization features. I can use them to genuinely deliver individual and relevant customer experiences across all channels. I also really appreciate the omnichannel automation, it makes it easy for me to ensure consistent customer communication. The interface is simple to use for campaign creation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

What I personally have to criticize is the complexity when integrating with systems that are not from SAP. I find that the API isn't always stable, and getting data out of it is sometimes genuinely tedious. While the basic features are simple, some advanced features have a pretty steep learning curve, which made it harder for me to get started. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the good UI and that it's easy to use, which is more valuable compared to using ACM. I appreciate the automation, the ease of creating templates, and the AI capabilities.
