"Smooth Setup, Needs Enhanced Features"

I find SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys) easy to learn, which makes it convenient for our team to get up to speed quickly. The transactional emails with attachments are another feature I like, as it supports our need for effective communication with customers. The initial setup was pretty smooth, which added to the overall positive experience with the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I want to send order notification emails with invoices attached, but SAP Engagement Cloud doesn't support that. Also, there should be more filtering options in the panel. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive for New Users, But Needs Faster Performance"
4/5
What do you like best about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

I appreciate the ability to import different data sources for the use of relational data in SAP Engagement Cloud. This feature gives an extra edge in tailoring marketing communications. Additionally, it's very easy to use for new users, and automation across different areas was quite easy from a front-end perspective. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Customizable, but with a steep learning curve"
4/5
What do you like best about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

I think it's great that most components of the SAP Engagement Cloud are customizable and adaptable to our tech stack and the individual solutions of our architecture. The code of template blocks can be edited directly, and product feeds as well as product integrations can be expanded in self-service. This allows us to implement solutions customer-oriented while freely considering the technical requirements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

The adaptability and overall structure make the SAP Emarsys part not very user-friendly. The onboarding up to expert users takes a lot of time and requires training. More standard solutions without code/tech stack understanding should be offered. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Flexible Platform with Room for Support Improvement"
4/5
What do you like best about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

I find SAP Emarsys flexible for our marketing department, enhancing efficiency in marketing operations. I appreciate the ability to set up push notifications and inbox messages for different segments, which are instrumental in our communication strategy. The range of usual features addresses gaps previously encountered, greatly benefiting our marketing efforts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

Setting up SAP Emarsys has proven to be quite demanding, especially when it comes to integrating Emarsys with our existing SAP legacy platform and configuring several test accounts. Furthermore, the SDK we adopted was not technically mature, which made the process even more challenging. I feel that the SDK documentation could be more comprehensive, as it currently lacks sufficient detail. In addition, I think the technical support could be more responsive and helpful. "UI Simplicity with Setup Challenges"
2.5/5
What do you like best about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

I like the UI for CRM and appreciate the no-code solution for managing CRM tasks with SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

Handling duplicates and data quality issues without the interrupting resets and full loads. Also a unified data transfer method for all types of data is missing. Confusing for first time setup since some of the documentation is out of date or links to outdated sites. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"High Automation, But a Difficult Start"
4.5/5
What do you like best about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

I really like that in SAP Engagement Cloud, you can automate marketing and work with huge databases. Also, I can use various variables and customize functions to suit myself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

In fact, everything is fine, the only thing I don't like is that it's difficult for people who are just starting to work to learn how to use it. It's a very big challenge to figure out what's where because there are so many functions and various integrations. To work effectively with all of this, a huge amount of time is needed, but overall everything else is okay. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly Interface, But Performance Hiccups"
3/5
What do you like best about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

I appreciate the user-friendly interface of SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys), which makes it easy to navigate and put together an email campaign. I also like the blocks feature, which contributes to the ease of use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

The segments area is too laggy because there's too many, and the deletion process isn't quick, so it doesn't incentivize people to delete segments when they're done with it. The initial setup was quite difficult, even though now I have the hang of it, but I'm always learning new ways to use it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
