"Simple Integration with SAP Engagement Cloud"
4/5
What do you like best about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

I like the ease of integration of SAP Engagement Cloud with third-party systems. They make it very simple to integrate both systems in just a few minutes, allowing me to share my database quickly and very easily. This includes integrating SmartSys with various channels like the web, making everything very fast and easy to accomplish. I also find the initial setup very simple compared to other SAP products, such as SAP Marketing Cloud and Cloud for Customer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

A better integration with the B2B business type would be ideal. Additionally, it would be useful to improve the views of the contacts and have a clarification on how to work with them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly with Efficient Template Management"
4.5/5
What do you like best about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

I use SAP Engagement Cloud for sending newsletters to customers and reviewing performance. I appreciate how easy it is to build newsletters and its customizable features. I love being able to use templates and copy them to new accounts because I have many customers, and it makes managing multiple accounts much easier. The onboarding was easy for me thanks to the setup templates and the user-friendly interface. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

The pre-set filter in the search bar should be turned off. I want to see more projects than only the past few ones of the last week. It should be removed. If I need a filter, I would like to set it myself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Helpful but Needs Improvement in Testing Flexibility"
3.5/5
What do you like best about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

I appreciate how SAP Engagement Cloud makes it easy to build emails without needing HTML knowledge, which is great for beginners. The platform is designed to be handy and user-friendly, so you don't have to know all the technical steps. I also like the tactics and the block-based email build, which save me a lot of time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

I find the testing part more flexible in Adobe Campaign. Maybe here, the testing part is a bit challenging compared to other tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Better Customer Experience with Data Integration Challenges"
4/5
What do you like best about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

I like the relational data in SAP Engagement Cloud because I can integrate data from other systems in my company and use it to send better communications to our customers. Also, SAP Engagement Cloud offered a better experience and more functionalities compared to Marketing Cloud. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

I find the timeout of the queries in the relational segments frustrating. When I try to run a query in a table with a massive amount of data, it always results in a timeout. I think increasing the time parameter could help. Also, the initial setup wasn't very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortlessly Boosted Our Campaign Engagement"
5/5
What do you like best about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

I like using SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys) for supporting campaigns at work through push notifications, emails, and automation programs like abandoned cart and welcome messages. It solves my problem of reaching people, and with SAP Engagement Cloud, my sales have increased. The interface is something I particularly appreciate, and I think it works very well. I also find the push notifications amazing because they allow us to reach thousands of people with a simple click. The personalization feature is particularly valuable as it makes people feel more connected. Setting it up was easy, which I find helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Communication, Minor ESL Improvements Needed"
4/5
What do you like best about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

I find SAP Engagement Cloud relatively easy to use, which is a big plus for me. The email template blocks are great because they help us and the local CRM teams to manage content efficiently. We can save content blocks and reuse them for other sends, which is really convenient. The initial setup was pretty easy, which made the transition smooth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

Some ESL and loops can be better as we have to find workarounds in some areas. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly Interface with Segmentation Frustrations"
4/5
What do you like best about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

I use SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys) mainly for creating lifecycle programs on email and mobile channels. I appreciate its user-friendly interface, which makes it easy to navigate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

The new segmentation overview seems like it was developed by people who don't actually use SAP Engagement Cloud. The old one was more straightforward. Now, too many useless clicks must be done for certain segment creation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful Email & Ad Targeting, Marred by Technical Glitches"
4/5
What do you like best about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

I think it's great we're able to segment audiences in specific types, like customer lifetime value and days since last engagement, which helps us tailor messaging in more detail and achieve a higher conversion rate. I personally use the digital ads audience feature the most because it helps me target specific audiences on different ad platforms, and it's significantly increased our return on ad spend. The email marketing and analytics features have also enabled us to understand the different engagement metrics and conversion rates per customer type, identifying weaknesses in our email and automation marketing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Engagement Cloud (formerly SAP Emarsys)?

We face technical issues frequently, like numbers in the dashboards not being right, connections between platforms breaking, and data loss. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
