Having used SAP Concur for expense management over the years, I’d say its biggest advantage is how seamlessly it automates the entire expense reporting process. The mobile app makes it very easy to capture receipts on the go and submit claims without delays. Its integration with corporate credit cards also helps a lot, since transactions are imported automatically and that saves a significant amount of manual data entry.
On the approval side, the workflows feel smooth and transparent—managers can review and approve or reject claims within minutes. Finally, the built-in audit trail and policy compliance checks have noticeably reduced errors and helped ensure our finance team stays in control. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While SAP Concur is a robust tool overall, the user interface can feel dated and not very intuitive, particularly for first-time users. The onboarding and implementation process is fairly complex and often requires dedicated IT support to get everything set up properly. At times, the OCR receipt-scanning feature misreads amounts or vendor names, which then forces manual corrections. Customer support response times can also be slow when the issue isn’t critical. On top of that, the licensing cost is on the higher side, which may not be the best fit for smaller organizations looking for a more budget-friendly option. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
