What do you like best?

SAP Concur is a very convenient way for me to submit expenses online for reimbursement. This has been a very useful tool for myself and my team as we have traveled more than ever before in 2019 and were using SAP Concur for travel expenses each month, flying, meals, transportation, etc. I like the overall Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

What I dislike is that some of the user interface is confusing to use, and is not always user-friendly. The thing is just that the workflow can be difficult and unclear, and becomes very time consuming. But once you figure it out and get into the flow of things, it's more convenient. What do you like best?

I used to love the travel tool I haven't used it in a while thanks to the current pandemic but it is amazing that after I was notified that I must be at X location 95% of the time I could do the whole booking process in less than 10 minutes, as for expense management is OK if the charge was made with the company card, otherwise, it is frustratingly slow, most of my expenses are done with the company card so I don't matter that much about it but some of my coworkers hate that. What do you dislike?

When cloning an expense report that needs to be done monthly the date of the new expense needs to be updated manually most of the time putting the expense one week later of the original instead of one month later. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

Concur is easy for the end user to use. Because so many companies use it, it is easy to understand it quickly during the onboarding process. I also really enjoy the app. It makes it really easy to do expense reports. This is never a fun process and this product makes it easier. I also liked the travel feature at past companies. For going back to look at expenses, it is really easy too. Overall I would recommend based on ease of use for end users. Just be careful because it can be an expensive product so, make sure you get the most out of it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

For the end user it is pretty easy to use. For talking to others, it is a very expensive product. A lot of people say they will consider switching because of this but, not a lot of other products offer everything Concur can do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Getting reimbursed monthly for traveling, home office, and other experiences. Making it easy to upload receipts and get paid. The app makes it easy for being on the go while traveling. In past companies I used the travel tool. That was also a great feature to make booking travel very easy. For the company I can see how it was a benefit for them too. What do you like best?

Invoice management improved a lot in 2020, I really hated doing invoicing in Concur before since it wasn't too reliable, the format usually came in the wrong order when importing it and was faster to manually type it in but right now I mostly review it and submit it, it has become rarer when I have to do a manual intervention. What do you dislike?

Expense management and image upload is slow, for a small 1 or 2 item expense it is not an issue, but when dealing with a bigger quantity of items the load time starts to be annoying. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

This program is so much easier to use. You can take a picture of receipts related to your expenses and upload it directly into the program. Locating the correct expense to apply expenditures are also a breeze compared to the paper version we had to do in the past. With everything being done electronically, approvals are much quicker as those who have to approve your expense can just click a link they receive via email and then click the approve button. What do you dislike?

There isn't anything to dislike about the program. There are extra benefits like keeping track of both personal and business related travel for frequent flier miles and many other pluses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

Concur makes it very easy to keep track and submit all expenses from a business trip. It also helps book the travel, as I can see which airlines, routes, flight times etc. will give me the best price that align with what our company prefers. I can also easily capture receipts so I do not have to deal with losing receipts or entering in an incorrect amount. Concur knows when my expenses are from Uber, which saves me a lot of time - I don't have to enter locations, dates, or other relevant info because it all feeds into Concur. What do you dislike?

Sometimes the amounts that are automatically fed into Concur do not match up. Also, the dates of a purchase vs. when the charge posts sometimes do not align, so it is difficult to change the dates on certain types of transactions. This usually happens when I leave a tip for an Uber driver - the total amount is adjusted but the dates sometimes show as the next day, after my ride. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We are solving the issue of keeping expense reports much more organized and easy to submit. Expense reports and organizing travel are often a pain point for several corporate travelers. However, Concur is making our organization much more streamlined. My team does not find ourselves struggling to identify expenses, losing receipts, etc. after a long business trip. What do you like best?

I like that it's a step-by-step program. You can create multiple reports, customize dates, accounts, etc. You attach your expenses to each report, click through the steps, and submit your report. Super easy!

I also love that they have an app where you can take a picture of your receipts and you can automatically upload it to your profile (and attach it to an expense at a later time). When you're traveling, you don't have to worry with keeping up with all of your receipts! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

It often takes 4-5 days for expenses to upload into the system. Also, sometimes if your dates overlap on travel reports, it gives you a "red flag" and won't let you submit. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

Concur works seamlessly on a desktop as well as a smartphone. It is convenient to upload receipts from the phone and use them directly in app or do it at your will on a desktop later. The map feature to calculate mileage is also very useful and adds value. The OCR paired with machine learning to auto-fill expenses from receipts is a real value addition! What do you dislike?

The UI still needs improvement. It has greatly improved over the years but it doesn't flow as well as some of the new-age apps from FANG companies. SAP has always struggled a little with UI but with time, this should be taken care of it seems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

I use SAP Concur to get my refunds back from my company. The process is easy and quick. The best thing about is that, you can doing it on a web browser and also on your mobile. It has an app. Apps are handy when you have physical receipts to upload. You take a picture , then open the App and upload it directly. No need to transfer it to your email or cloud and load it through the browser. The other feature I like is that the entire software is easy to learn and mostly self explanatory. Information flow is easy to view and all your claims and their status can be viewed. You also get email notifications if there is any update on your claims which makes it easier to track. All you need to do is setup your account with one of your banks and it will directly transfer the refunds into the bank. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I am using SAP Concur to get refunds on my business trip, Car Rentals, Business Lunch, etc. I also use it to approve refund claims made by my direct reports. Every time my direct reports files a claim, I receive a notification, I go in, look at the information and if everything seems right, I approve it, which then goes to Accounting to process the final refunds. What do you like best?

It simplifies the accounts payable process in a significative way and adds a verification for every movement in a synchronous way vastly reducing the possibilities of a headache in an audit and simplifies the way everything is processed and as long as a vendor is on the system already it can be quickly added, modified or if the amount is the same, reused by copying all values with the click of a few buttons. What do you like best?

Easy to navigate, add new employees, update accounting codes The travel reports make it easy to reconcile the expenses incurred. Getting up to date information on status of employees travel plans and itinerary. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

The lack of personal contact when it comes to solving website problems. I is very automated, so it does not always give you the exact information that you want. The custom reports are cumbersome. The time allowed for a manager to approve a specific travel item is too short. It does not provide enough time or allow for weekends and holidays. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Business Travel is easy and the parameters set for our travelers keeps them within set budgets. The app makes it easy for employees to request reimbursement and the management overview is keeps reports timely and with in the set rules. The reimbursement process, once the manager approved the report is very efficient. I am able to look up all business travel charged to our Corporate P Card by looking at the Travel reports and thus eliminate double payments. What do you like best?

We thought Concur would be a good solution for our small but growing charity based on hearing some positive opinions from another partner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

The implementation process and customization steps are so cumbersome. Getting to the billing panel to even update a credit card number takes 3-4 steps through different interfaces. After realizing Concur won't work with Quickbooks Desktop as easily as we thought, we weren't able to cancel and SAP made us wait 90 days to cancel, even though we requested to hold or cancel our membership several times with unresponsive reps.

We've switched our team to Expensify and it's a breath of fresh air. Live Chat support, a streamlined interface, and no headaches in communication. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
