"Unified Commerce and Visibility with SAP"
4.5/5
What do you like best about SAP Commerce Cloud?

I like SAP Commerce Cloud's ability to handle extreme complexity while unifying diverse business models (B2B, B2C, B2B2C) on a single platform. Its unified approach allows us to manage operations on a single technology stack, eliminating data silos, reducing operation costs, and giving us total visibility into our entire supply chain. The initial setup was really easy and required just a week of training to start using. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Commerce Cloud?

There are several reality checks with SAP Commerce Cloud: industry-specific capabilities, automated scaling for peak loads, and intelligent self-service. Additionally, aspects like decoupling, API communication, and microservices could be improved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Flexible Platform with High Investment Demands"
4.5/5
What do you like best about SAP Commerce Cloud?

I like the flexibility of SAP Commerce Cloud because it allows almost every use-case from our customers to be implemented. It's valuable to us since every requirement from our business or customers can be fulfilled on the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Commerce Cloud?

I don't like the release strategy and cycles that SAP has in place. First, being forced to move from on-prem to the cloud, then again another investment for the decoupled storefront. It feels like every couple of years, there’s a big investment project to keep the platform up and running. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"my SAP experience"
4/5
What do you like best about SAP Commerce Cloud?

Strong integration with SAP: ideal if the company already uses SAP ERP or S/4HANA, as the data is centralized (customers, orders, invoices, etc.).

Robust solution: suitable for large organizations with complex processes.

Extended features: management of sales, marketing, customer service, campaigns, analytics.

Customization: ability to adapt workflows and screens to specific needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Commerce Cloud?

Complexity of the interface: often considered unintuitive and outdated compared to more modern CRMs (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho).

Learning curve: requires a lot of training for users.

High cost: licenses + integration + maintenance → often much more expensive than "ready-to-use" cloud CRMs.

Deployment time: long and costly projects, especially in large companies.

Rigidity: even if customizable, some find the solution cumbersome and less agile in the face of changing needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"All-in-One System That Aligns Global Data Seamlessly"
5/5
What do you like best about SAP Commerce Cloud?

It’s an all-in-one system that helps align data across the organization globally. Information is kept in the system, which makes it easier for users to define their job requirements and work with consistent data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Commerce Cloud?

I’m unable to upload data in bulk. I wish it had file-reading tools that could read data from Excel and upload everything into the system at once. Having to upload entries one by one is very time-consuming. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I find SAP Commerce Cloud pretty straightforward to follow and appreciate how clear it is where all the required information needs to be allocated. The initial setup was very easy for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Commerce Cloud?

Certain aspects feel like there is too much clicking to do, and the process for creating parts can be smoother. I also wish there was an option to copy and paste in certain boxes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Catalog, Pricing, and Promotions Management Across Channels"
4/5
What do you like best about SAP Commerce Cloud?

I like how it organizes and control to things like catalog management, pricing, and promotions. It makes it easier to manage large assortments and keep everything consistent across channels, while still allowing flexibility for different accounts with our integrations from IT Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Commerce Cloud?

From an operations perspective, it can be less agile. Things like updating content, pricing, or promotions may require dev support, which slows things down. Reporting can also require additional setup to get exactly what you need. I dont have all the access as I am not admin so I don't have all the customization I need. "Enterprise Grade Commerce with a Steep Learning Curve"
4/5
What do you like best about SAP Commerce Cloud?

What I appreciate most about SAP Commerce Cloud is its capability to accommodate complex, enterprise-level commerce needs on a scalable platform. It efficiently manages extensive product catalogs, pricing rules, and customer data, which is essential for both B2B and B2C environments. The platform's flexibility allows it to support various channels and customer interactions from a single backend system.

Additionally, a significant advantage is its integration with the wider SAP ecosystem. It seamlessly connects with SAP ERP, S/4HANA, and other SAP solutions, ensuring consistent data across orders, inventory, and customer information. This integration facilitates the delivery of a more seamless and personalized customer experience while maintaining robust backend control. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Commerce Cloud?

One of the primary challenges associated with SAP Commerce Cloud is its complexity. Implementing and customizing the platform typically necessitates skilled developers, which can require considerable time and effort. For teams that are new to the platform, the learning curve can be quite steep. Additionally, performance tuning and system upgrades can be quite demanding. The overall costs related to licensing and infrastructure may also be substantial, posing a potential concern for smaller organizations or those with simpler commerce requirements.
