Here’s what I dislike most: Limited customization (especially Public Cloud) You can’t freely modify the system like in ECC or S/4HANA On-Prem. Many changes need to follow SAP’s standard processes, which can be frustrating for businesses with unique requirements. Dependence on SAP’s release cycle Mandatory quarterly/bi-annual updates mean you must constantly test changes. While innovation is great, it can impact stability if not managed well. Higher total cost over time Subscription fees, integration costs, and reliance on SAP BTP for extensions can make it expensive in the long run—especially for mid-size customers.
