I like the ability to pull detailed transactions from Business Objects. I use it to review financial data such as payables. It captures information like invoice date, vendor number, due date, received date, check number and others. It is a feature rich mature BI tool set that can achieve the vast majority of what any enterprise needs if you are primarily using Relational databases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Business Objects was primarily a Relational database reporting and analysis tool set, but since SAP bought it, there seems to be a push towards BW as the primary data source.
