I have been working as an SAP development consultant in one of the SAP Business partners for the past two years, During these years, I find SAP Business One very adaptable to customer requirements. There are several builds in customization options that can be used to develop a solution to fit customer requirements. As a developer, you can use .net technology and use languages such as C# and Visual Basic to build add-ons that are very easy to deploy in clients' systems. You can also find learning material on the SAP learning hub and other portals. They have an active community where you can find help if you get stuck at some point. It has got all the modules that the small and medium enterprises required to run their business process smoothly. I have already implemented SAP Business One for several clients in a short period of time, and customer feedback is very good and also they find it very affordable. I like that SAP has features that allow extra security. The ability to enable users to have certain "rights" to processing different transactions helps to ensure mistakes are avoided or employees don't have access to changing things they are not supposed to. This has helped our business in many ways, and saved us a lot of headaches. I like the functionality and simplicity of the software overall. You can customize your home screen to have it set up as you want to see it, which is great to avoid have unneccesary clutter on your homepage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about SAP Business One? I'm not too fond of specific features that seem more technically advanced - for example, the query generator for creating reports. If you are going blindly into the software, it's tough to navigate to understand how to create customized reports, but if you have some training or do some research, it's easy to figure out how to do some of them. What problems is SAP Business One solving and how is that benefiting you? One nice benefit of this software is the relationship map feature. This helps to ensure that invoices can be tied back to the original sales quotations, and you can "trace" each transaction-related. This has saved us many headaches and time spent searching for related documentation.
