"Real-Time Tracking with Some Navigation Hiccups"
3.5/5
What do you like best about SAP Business Network?

I like how SAP Business Network uses cloud-based tracking that is updated in real time and doesn't have to be manually managed. It allows me to locate items in real time without having to rely on word of mouth or continuous updates managed by multiple people. The updates are tracked, and there is rarely confusion on inventory. It enables real-time collaboration through precise updates and tracking, which is used among me and my colleagues without having to physically track and locate orders or packages. What do you dislike about SAP Business Network?

It appears that at times the controls seem a bit redundant or useless. Like the navigation controls can be confusing or inconsistent. Maybe having one function control one part of the page instead of multiple functions. That way people who are training SAP or being trained are able to have consistent teachings. "Good Visibility Across Trading Partners, Needs Better Usability"
4/5
What do you like best about SAP Business Network?

The most commendable aspect of the SAP Business Network is its ability to enhance collaboration and transparency among trading partners. This platform establishes a unified and standardized environment that facilitates communication and information exchange among buyers, suppliers, logistics providers, and asset operators, moving away from the reliance on emails and isolated systems.

The significant advantage lies in the increased visibility throughout the supply chain. It simplifies the tracking of order statuses, shipments, invoices, and confirmations, thereby minimizing delays, reducing errors, and decreasing the need for manual follow-ups. Furthermore, its integration with SAP ERP and S/4HANA ensures data consistency, which contributes to smoother transactions and reinforces relationships with business partners Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Business Network?

A primary obstacle encountered with the SAP Business Network pertains to the onboarding and integration processes, particularly when collaborating with smaller suppliers or partners who might not be well-versed in SAP applications. Achieving alignment among all partners regarding processes and data standards necessitates significant time and resource investment.

Financial considerations can also pose challenges, particularly from the suppliers' perspective, potentially affecting their level of engagement. Moreover, some users perceive the interface and workflows as less user-friendly than anticipated, leading to complications in resolving issues across different stakeholders. Although the network offers substantial benefits, its successful implementation demands robust change management strategies and effective partner coordination. What do you dislike about SAP Business Network?

I find it frustrating that I can't copy just a specific part of a line when I need it for a report. Instead, I'm forced to copy the entire line and then manually edit it, which is inconvenient. Additionally, I don't like that there's no option to print in a format similar to PDF. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient Process, but Overall Experience Needs Improvement"
2.5/5
What do you like best about SAP Business Network?

the efficiency of the process What I like best about SAP Business Network is how it creates a fully connected digital ecosystem between buyers, suppliers, and logistics partners. Instead of relying on emails, spreadsheets, or manual follow ups, everything is centralized on one collaborative platform. This increases transparency, improves communication, and reduces errors in procurement and supply chain processes. I especially appreciate how it enables real time visibility into purchase orders, invoices, shipments, and payment status, which helps companies make faster and more informed decisions. Another strong advantage is automation: processes such as order confirmations, invoicing, and document matching can be streamlined, reducing administrative workload and operational costs. The network also strengthens supplier relationships by standardizing collaboration and performance tracking. Overall, SAP Business Network enhances efficiency, trust, and data accuracy across the entire supply chain, making business operations more agile and resilient in a competitive global environment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Business Network?

One thing I dislike about SAP Business Network is that it can be complex and overwhelming for new users, especially small suppliers who are not very familiar with SAP systems. The onboarding process may require training, system configuration, and adaptation to standardized digital processes, which can feel demanding at the beginning. In addition, integration with existing ERP systems can sometimes require technical support and additional costs, particularly for companies without strong IT resources. Another challenge is that smaller businesses may perceive platform fees or compliance requirements as a burden. While the network offers many powerful features, the learning curve and implementation effort can slow down adoption. Overall, although SAP Business Network improves transparency and collaboration, its complexity and cost can be obstacles for organizations that are not fully prepared for digital transformation.
