"Actionable Insights for Predictive Maintenance with Seamless SAP Integration"
5/5
What do you like best about SAP Asset Performance Management?

What I like most about SAP Asset Performance Management is its ability to turn asset data into actionable insights. It helps move maintenance strategies from reactive to predictive by identifying potential failures before they happen. The risk-based approach to asset management makes it easier to prioritize critical equipment and focus resources where they have the biggest impact.

Another strong point is the integration with the broader SAP ecosystem, which allows operational, maintenance, and performance data to work together in one place. This improves visibility across assets and supports better decision-making. I also appreciate the structured methodologies built into the platform, which guide teams toward more standardized and data-driven maintenance processes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Asset Performance Management?

One of the main challenges with SAP Asset Performance Management is the initial complexity. The platform is very powerful, but it comes with a steep learning curve, especially for users who are not already familiar with SAP systems. Proper configuration and setup can take significant time and usually require experienced consultants.

Another downside is that the user interface, while improving, can still feel overwhelming due to the number of features and data points available. For smaller teams or organizations with simpler maintenance needs, the solution may feel heavier than necessary. Additionally, achieving full value from the system depends heavily on having high-quality and well-structured asset data, which not every organization has readily available. "Effective Management Tool with Outdated Interface"
3.5/5
What do you like best about SAP Asset Performance Management?

I found SAP Asset Performance Management really helpful for keeping track of what was going on within my department and the wider store. It was always up to date and I didn't have any issues with it not working. It helped a lot with customer complaints and store issues, giving clarity on what part of the process they were at. Additionally, it was linked to the wider B&Q software, so it could be linked to showroom design software and data could be pulled when transferring projects. What do you dislike about SAP Asset Performance Management?

For such a helpful system, it looks like it belonged on a computer from 1990. The user interface definitely held it back with its small text and no clear icons. A clear guide may have been more helpful for me, as I had to learn it through colleagues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
