"Effective for KPI Reporting, Moderate Setup"
3.5/5
What do you like best about SAP Analytics Cloud?

I like that we can pull data from SAP to build our reports. It's great that we're able to join data together from various tables across different transactions, which helps us create meaningful reports. This feature is valuable as it aids in improving our business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Analytics Cloud?

Access isn't very widespread, which limits its use for ad hoc reporting. Also, the setup took longer than expected since we had to involve a team of report writers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"SAP Analytics Cloud Makes Data Easy for Everyday Users"
4/5
What do you like best about SAP Analytics Cloud?

What I like most about SAP Analytics Cloud is how easy it makes understanding data for everyday users. I don’t have to be a technical expert to view dashboards or drill down into reports. The interface feels clean and straightforward, and I can quickly find the information I’m looking for.

I also appreciate that everything is available in one place—reports, charts, and KPIs—which saves time compared with switching between multiple tools. The real-time data updates are helpful for tracking performance and making faster decisions. Overall, it makes reporting simpler, more efficient, and better suited to daily business use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Analytics Cloud?

One thing I dislike about SAP Analytics Cloud is that it can feel slow at times, especially when I’m working with large datasets or more complex dashboards. Some of the advanced features also come with a learning curve, so new users may need extra time and proper training before they can use the tool confidently.

In certain scenarios, the customization options can feel limited, and even small report changes sometimes take more steps than I expect. Pricing can also be on the higher side, which may not be ideal for smaller teams or organizations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about SAP Analytics Cloud?

SAP Analytics Cloud stands out for how seamlessly it brings analytics, planning, and predictive capabilities into one unified platform. I love that you can move from exploring data to building visualizations to creating forecasts—all without switching tools. Its intuitive, drag-and-drop interface makes it easy to turn complex data into clear, interactive dashboards, and the real-time connection to SAP and non-SAP data ensures decisions are always based on the latest information. Overall, it transforms analytics into a faster, smarter, and more collaborative experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Analytics Cloud?

One challenge with SAP Analytics Cloud is that performance can sometimes slow down when working with large or complex datasets, especially in stories with many visualizations. Some features feel less flexible compared to other BI tools, and certain advanced customizations require workarounds. The learning curve can also be a bit steep for new users, particularly when blending data or working with planning models. While the platform is powerful, these limitations can occasionally make development and optimization more time-consuming than expected. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Planning with SAP integration"
4.5/5
What do you like best about SAP Analytics Cloud?

SAP Analytics Cloud is that analytics, reporting, and planning are fully integrated into a single solution. This reduced significantly the need to export data into Excel and manipulate it further. This solution was mainly used for financial and performance reporting. The ability of the dashboards to update automatically and be consistent is also great, provided that the data model is properly set up, and the connection to other SAP systems is reliable. In addition, collaboration capabilities, which allow commenting on reports and ensuring numbers are aligned across teams, were also useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP Analytics Cloud?

The biggest con is that of the learning curve, especially for people who are not familiar with products from SAP. In the first weeks of using the software, navigating and configuring it was complicated. Some features are not easy to find without documentation. Creating data models and using complex dashboards requires some technical knowledge and time. In some cases, performance can be a problem when dealing with large datasets and complex calculations. This causes slower loading times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
