**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Analytics Cloud?**

SAP Analytics Cloud makes data analysis and reporting much easier in one place. I have been using it for the past few months, and the dashboard interface feels clean and easy to understand for daily work. The real-time analytics and visualization features help in checking business data quickly without wasting much time. I also like how it combines reporting, planning, and forecasting together, which improves productivity and decisionmaking. The cloud based access is another good point because I can work from anywhere without complicated setup.

**What do you dislike about SAP Analytics Cloud?**

One thing that could be improved in SAP Analytics Cloud is the performance speed when working with large datasets or complex dashboards, because sometimes loading takes more time than expected. In the beginning, some features also feel a little difficult to understand for new users, especially during setup and advanced reporting. A few customization options could be more flexible to make the overall experience smoother. Better optimization and a simpler learning curve would make it even more user-friendly for both beginners and regular business users.

**What problems is SAP Analytics Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Analytics Cloud helps solve the problem of managing and understanding business data from different sources in one platform. I am a designer, and I have been using and learning it for the past few months, especially to better understand dashboards and data visualization. Earlier, manual reporting and scattered data used to create confusion and take a lot of time, but this platform has made the reporting and analytics process much smoother. I found its dashboard system and visualization tools very helpful because they make it easier to present data in a clean and professional way. The real-time insights also improve performance tracking and decision-making. It is useful for businesses that want reporting, planning, and analytics together in one cloudbased solution. For buyers, it can save time, reduce manual work, and help teams stay more organized and productive.

**Reviewed by:** DIP NILESH S. | Operations & Inventory Coordinator (Supply Chain / Warehouse Operations), Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Analytics Cloud?**

SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) is a powerful, all-in-one analytics and planning platform that combines business intelligence, data visualization, and enterprise planning in a single cloud-based solution. It works especially well for organizations already using SAP systems and looking for tight integration, standardized reporting, and advanced planning capabilities.

**What do you dislike about SAP Analytics Cloud?**

Steep learning curve for new users

Advanced modeling and customization often require technical expertise

Performance can slow down with large datasets or complex models

**What problems is SAP Analytics Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Analytics Cloud helps us solve issues around fragmented data, manual reporting, and disconnected planning by providing a single, cloud-based platform that combines analytics, reporting, and planning capabilities from SAP SE. It centralizes data from multiple sources, reduces reliance on spreadsheets, and gives us real-time visibility into key performance indicators. As a result, we spend less time preparing reports and reconciling numbers and more time analyzing insights. This has improved data accuracy, strengthened collaboration across teams, and enabled faster, more confident decision-making, especially for budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning.

 ### 8. Planning with SAP integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nijat I. | Full-stack Developer, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Analytics Cloud?**

SAP Analytics Cloud is that analytics, reporting, and planning are fully integrated into a single solution. This reduced significantly the need to export data into Excel and manipulate it further. This solution was mainly used for financial and performance reporting. The ability of the dashboards to update automatically and be consistent is also great, provided that the data model is properly set up, and the connection to other SAP systems is reliable. In addition, collaboration capabilities, which allow commenting on reports and ensuring numbers are aligned across teams, were also useful.

**What do you dislike about SAP Analytics Cloud?**

The biggest con is that of the learning curve, especially for people who are not familiar with products from SAP. In the first weeks of using the software, navigating and configuring it was complicated. Some features are not easy to find without documentation. Creating data models and using complex dashboards requires some technical knowledge and time. In some cases, performance can be a problem when dealing with large datasets and complex calculations. This causes slower loading times.

**What problems is SAP Analytics Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Analytics Cloud helps address the challenge of disconnected and manual analytics processes that are heavily dependent on spreadsheet and multiple reporting tool usage. Prior to the use of SAP Analytics Cloud, the process of using multiple reporting tools and spreadsheets was such that the data was exported and then manually changed, followed by revalidation of the same. This was not only time-consuming but also increased the probability of errors and discrepancies in the data. With the use of SAP Analytics Cloud, the process of using the same data and keeping the same numbers and assumptions for the entire team was greatly improved, and the process of planning and forecasting was also greatly improved.

**Reviewed by:** Kuldeep S. | Mechanical Design Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2025

**What do you like best about SAP Analytics Cloud?**

SAC brings together business intelligence, planning, and predictive analytics within a single platform. This means there is no need to piece together different products, allowing finance, operations, and analytics teams to collaborate using one unified model.

**What do you dislike about SAP Analytics Cloud?**

SAC can sometimes feel sluggish, especially when working with large or complex models. Performance may also suffer if there are too many calculations involved or if data is being imported instead of accessed live. Additionally, if networks are not properly optimized, this can further impact speed. While using live connections can improve responsiveness, performance tuning is often still necessary to achieve optimal results.

**What problems is SAP Analytics Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fragmented BI, planning, and analytics tools are a common challenge for many companies. Organizations frequently find themselves managing separate solutions for reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and predictive analytics. This fragmentation often results in duplicated data, inconsistent versions, and workflows that are not well connected.

SAC addresses these issues by bringing together BI, planning, and predictive capabilities within a single platform. As a result, users no longer need to switch between Excel, a BI tool, and a separate planning tool. This integration ensures a single, consistent version of the truth, enables faster decision-making, and reduces the burden of IT maintenance.

I also value the Smart Insights and predictive forecasting features, which automatically highlight key drivers and trends, helping business teams make faster, data-driven decisions. Collaboration tools, such as commenting and shared stories, make it easy for teams to align on KPIs and business plans.

Overall, SAC stands out for its end-to-end analytics and planning capabilities, seamless SAP integration, and strong user experience.

**What do you dislike about SAP Analytics Cloud?**

While SAP Analytics Cloud is powerful and well integrated with the SAP ecosystem, there are a few areas that could be improved. Some features—like data actions, allocation processes, and scripting—require deeper technical knowledge.

Performance can vary when handling large datasets or complex dashboards, and some visualizations may take longer to load compared to other analytics tools. The story-building interface, although flexible, can feel a bit restrictive at times, especially when trying to create highly customized layouts or advanced visual designs.

Additionally, integrations with non-SAP data sources often require extra configuration or middleware, which adds complexity. The mobile app experience also has room for improvement in terms of responsiveness and feature parity with the web version.

Overall, SAC is a strong platform, but improving performance, simplifying advanced features, and enhancing flexibility would make it even more user-friendly.

Previously, teams relied on multiple tools and manual data exports, which led to inconsistencies, delays, and limited visibility into real-time business performance.

With SAC, we now have a single integrated platform for business intelligence, planning, and predictive analytics, eliminating silos and enabling collaborative decision-making. Real-time connectivity to SAP HANA, S/4HANA, and other SAP systems ensures that dashboards and reports are always up to date, allowing teams to respond quickly to changing business conditions.

SAC’s built-in predictive and smart insights capabilities help identify key trends, drivers, and anomalies without requiring deep data science expertise. The unified planning features streamline budgeting and forecasting processes, reducing cycle times and improving accuracy.

Overall, SAP Analytics Cloud has improved data transparency, accelerated reporting workflows, and empowered both business and technical users to make faster, data-driven decisions—resulting in greater efficiency and strategic alignment across the organization.

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2025

**What do you like best about SAP Analytics Cloud?**

What I appreciate most about SAP Analytics Cloud is the way it brings everything together in one centralized location. Previously, my data and dashboards were scattered across different platforms, but now I can consolidate everything within a single environment. The visualizations are quite clear once you get a sense of how the tool operates, and the real-time data connection proves to be genuinely helpful. It’s especially valuable when I need to make quick decisions and can’t afford to wait for someone to manually refresh a report.

**What do you dislike about SAP Analytics Cloud?**

In my experience, the steep learning curve was the most difficult part. Certain features felt a bit buried within menus that were confusing at first. I also wouldn't call the initial setup straightforward; it took some trial and error, and for several days, I wasn't entirely sure everything was configured properly. While support is helpful, there were times especially when I was stuck on smaller issues when I wished the response times were faster.

**What problems is SAP Analytics Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having all my data consolidated in one place saves me a significant amount of time, as I no longer need to switch between multiple tools. It also provides the team with a single source of truth, which eliminates confusion and disagreements over conflicting versions of the same figures. All in all, this has made my entire workflow much faster and more streamlined.
