"Switchvox: A smart solution for small to medium business!"
5/5
What do you like best about Sangoma Unified Communications Platform?

The Switchvox is extremely customizable so that you can tailor the system functionality to your business' call structure. It can be used for automated answering or as an operator PBX with the ability to set up circular and linear call groups. With the included Switchboard web console, you can view and distribute calls in your organization, dial other users, view and retrieve parked calls, manage voicemails and more right from your workstation's desktop. There are optional add-ons to allow you to dial contacts directly from your web browser and MS Outlook. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sangoma Unified Communications Platform?

The mobile app for Switchvox has experienced spotty performance with intermittent call drops and user status displays. Despite several sessions with Digium support, they have been unable to resolve the issue. This is an area where they need improvement. Be cautious if your intent is to have an employee use the mobile extension app as their exclusive extension. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Digium is a solid VoIP solution"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Sangoma Unified Communications Platform?

We have a complete Digium solution, with an on-premise phone system, Digium phones and the Digium Switchvox software. It has been very easy to learn and use. The calls sound crisp and clear. We have not had any major issues or outages. Administrative software is laid out in an intuitive way. Support is easy to contact and they have mostly been very helpful. What do you dislike about Sangoma Unified Communications Platform?

We have experienced a few bugs with the Switchvox software, but most have been easily remedied. We recently ran a Switchvox update and it broke some of our analog devices. These devices (conference room phone, cordless phone, overhead paging system) were no longer connected. I called Digium for support and the rep pretty much told me I was on my own to figure out how to get them connected back up. It was the update that broke things, so I was hoping for some help. Instead I spent hours on the internet finding a solution. Also, I don't like that you have to wait for a software revision before things are resolved. Sometimes you have to live with a 'bug' for a month, or even longer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Digium 80 Appliance Cold Spare"
5/5
What do you like best about Sangoma Unified Communications Platform?

Our office has been operating on the Switchvox 80 for almost five years. We like the system a lot as it is user friendly and pretty reliable. If we do run into any issues, tech support is great to work with and are always will to assist you with any problems we have with the device. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sangoma Unified Communications Platform?

We have run into glitches a few times with our switchboard which we have to restart the software every once in a while. There are some features we wish to have back in the switchboard as well. One of those features is being able to drag a call to an extension. I know the people who manage the front miss that function. Otherwise, we are really happy with the appliance we have at our office right now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent Product and Support"
5/5
What do you like best about Sangoma Unified Communications Platform?

The support is invaluable and the techs are knowledgeable and are able to answer questions almost every time. The billing process is transparent and simple. The web based interface is clean and easy to navigate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sangoma Unified Communications Platform?

I was used to the 3CX interface and structure so the cloud version of your software is new and I am still trying to wrap my mind around how it should work. It would help to have some "company templates" for us non technical customers on the month to month plans. It would've helped to ask our company structure at the beginning so your engineers could match how we work. The phone app has a lot of issues. The structuring of the phone system seams "isolated" for example IVR, adding phones, adding extensions, are all separate locations and hard to keep track of how they all together. The reporting on the cloud version is limited and difficult to configure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"I have been very happy with the flexibility and ease of use with Switchvox"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Sangoma Unified Communications Platform?

I love the low cost, ease of administration, flexibility to work with multiple phone, the ease of setting up digium phones, and the INTEGRATION. Being able to create our own "in house" click to dial CRM where we track leads, prospects, calls, time on phone, conversions, sales, etc. is a HUGE plus for our company. Without that, we would be looking for new vendor. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sangoma Unified Communications Platform?

Honestly, what i dislike the most is simply the IVR functionality. It just seems a little clunky to me, but maybe it just doesn't work well with my brain. The other downside i see, is not being able to have a mobile app and desk phone share the same extension. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great and flexible phone system for multiple locations"
5/5
What do you like best about Sangoma Unified Communications Platform?

I like best how the system functions between locations. The distance has been removed and we can function like one office, while those who call in can still see enough separation between our locations to get to the right person quickly. We use a call support service and the call flow flexibility allows us to utilize them, as well as internal staff to handle our call volume. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sangoma Unified Communications Platform?

We have pushed the level of customization, as we normally do, but found that call routing has a few limitations when trying to dump calls off to other staff members when one is on the phone or needing to jump into a new cue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Solid Product"
4/5
What do you like best about Sangoma Unified Communications Platform?

Switchvox makes it very easy for an IT professional to configure and manage the phone system as compared to legacy phone systems. It has a great web interface with easy to navigate menus. The y also offer all options right out of the box. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sangoma Unified Communications Platform?

We had a lot of setup issues with reliability of the product. We had a re-seller involved in getting the system set up and it still required several phone calls to him and to Digium's support. I had some issues with Digium's support initially, but they have really improved since those initial calls. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent product backed up by excellent service"
5/5
What do you like best about Sangoma Unified Communications Platform?

Support is only a phone call away. Love the helpfulness of all the techs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sangoma Unified Communications Platform?

The software is so robust. There is great training on videos but there is so much that is hard to know where to start. Support is so helpful and they often just do what needs to be done. I like to know how to fix things myself so it would be great if in the follow up email the steps taken to correct the issue were laid out. Some of the techs take the time to walk me through doing things myself. Are there webinars available which share some of the cool things this system can do? Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Swithcvox for the win!"
5/5
What do you like best about Sangoma Unified Communications Platform?

We love our Switchvox E510 and enjoy the ease of administration, setup, and use. We like the build quality of the phones and hardware, and so far have not had many issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sangoma Unified Communications Platform?

We do not like how we cannot choose which versions to update to, right now it only let's you install the current release and is problematic when trying to sync our primary and backup units should they become out of syn with the versions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great SMB VOIP PBX Appliance"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Sangoma Unified Communications Platform?

The web based admin UI is very user friendly. The IVR programming is flexible and powerful. The US Based support is knowledgeable and responsive. The hardware is reliable and performant. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sangoma Unified Communications Platform?

Switchvox is not based on the latest version of Asterisk. It lags behind...in the past it was more significant. We have had issues that appeared to be related to the old version of Asterisk under the covers...We have been running multiple Switchvox PBX's across our WAN for about 8 years. Over the years most of the bugs have gotten wrung out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
