"Excellent Customer Service"
4/5
What do you like best about Sangoma Unified Communications Platform?

Their customer service is superb. We wanted to route our calls differently based on the line they came in and every time we have called their representatives have been very patient and very knowledgeable about their products. They always make sure the issue is resolved before getting off the phone Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sangoma Unified Communications Platform?

Haven't experienced any so far. Everything has been great. No complaints Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Voice Over IP At Its FInest"
5/5
What do you like best about Sangoma Unified Communications Platform?

Having recently switched to Switchvox as my VOIP, I was somehwat skeptical to see how effective and simplistic it would be to use, but it honestly blows its competition out of the water. Switchvox is fast, nimble, reliable and sleek, making the integration between softphone and hard landline seamless. Unlike other soft phones, Switchvox's interface gives users the options to control volume, speaker settings, and other highly useful features all from one simple interface as opposed to having to dig through menu after menu to find one simple option. What do you dislike about Sangoma Unified Communications Platform?

At this time I really can't think of a downside with Switchvox, other than the fact that the app version of the product is much less functional than the desktop version. However, since I am reviewing the software as a whole, I will confidently report that I can think of no problems with this software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great product for the money overall - could use some minor improvements"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Sangoma Unified Communications Platform?

The graphic user interface for Switchvox is simple and very easy to use. The pricing for the product for the features you get from it are virtually unmatchable. The number of advanced features available at no additional cost also constantly add value to an already great product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sangoma Unified Communications Platform?

The reporting capabilities leave a lot to be desired. For starters, you can not specify multiple email recipients to send scheduled reports to. Secondly, you can not specify multiple individual queue reports within a broader, overarching report. And lastly, there appears to be a hard limit as to the number of scheduled reports that can either be simultaneously run and/or emailed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Quick help when needed."
5/5
What do you like best about Sangoma Unified Communications Platform?

What I like best is their support. Switchvox has a very nice Knowledge Base section where you can get most of, if not all your answers, answered. I also like that you can call them, email them, or Skype them for support cases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sangoma Unified Communications Platform?

At this moment, I have not had any issues that would cause me to dislike anything about Switchvox. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great system for a good price"
4/5
What do you like best about Sangoma Unified Communications Platform?

Switchvox provides a comprehensive set of both PBX-like features and call center features that allow business to do just about anything they would need/want to do with a phone system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sangoma Unified Communications Platform?

Not as many integrations available as there are for other systems. Also, when the application Switchboard moved from Flash to HTML5 this had a huge impact on usability/efficiency for users of large or main switchboards because of the loss of drag-and-drop call forwarding/redirection. Also, recent builds are more focused on the use of Digium-branded phones rather than industry-standard VoIP phones like Polycom. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent Phone Service"
4/5
What do you like best about Sangoma Unified Communications Platform?

I love the touch screen options, it makes switching and picking up calls really easy. I also like that I can set the ring tone for external and internal calls. I also like that we can customize the screen saver and we can upload employee photos so when you need to talk to someone in the office, you just have to click on their picture. What do you dislike about Sangoma Unified Communications Platform?

We have to call when we need things set up (ie cues and parking lots). We also lose service a handful of times a year. It is also annoying that I have to be the one to initate a call to do a 3 way call. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Leaves A lot to Be Desired"
0.5/5
What do you like best about Sangoma Unified Communications Platform?

Denis has been exceptionally helpful over the years that we have utilized Switchvox. Heath has also been exceptionally helpful through the years as well.

Basically it is nice when we get good support, not just folks who read from a script but they use their knowledge of the system to point us in the right direction. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sangoma Unified Communications Platform?

Digium forces you to be on the latest version even if the current version you have is stable with the exception of small issues that once were troubleshootable when said version was the current. After the version is upgraded, Digium pretends as if the older versions never existed. Also, I would like the ability to programmatically build and/or manage IVRs.

We've had now 2 Switchvox 470's drive arrays literally burn up in the server rack at the data center during production, as in they smelt like electrical fires had occurred in the connecting wires from the motherboard to the array itself (sata cables)

Only as high as tier 2 support is available on the weekend unless specially requested ahead of time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great for small to medium, simple VOIP solutions."
3.5/5
What do you like best about Sangoma Unified Communications Platform?

I think the biggest upside is the user friendly abilities of the system. It is relatively easy to use and operate as well as program. For the lion's share of users in your userbase, it becomes the evolution they are wanting without sacrificing large amounts of capital dollars. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sangoma Unified Communications Platform?

For highly complex environments, the Switchvox solution may not provide the complex characteristics that are desirable. In normal instances, there would be a plethora of literature that could be sent to all users regarding ongoing operations of their little piece of the solution. "Great Transition from Legacy PBX"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Sangoma Unified Communications Platform?

Switchvox was easy to deploy in our existing VMware environment. Digium phone provision easily and third party equipment interfaces nicely without an extreme amount of effort. System offers great flexibility for our school district. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sangoma Unified Communications Platform?

We do have some small modification requests that would help us as a school district. We would like to restrict times that external callers can dial extensions while still allowing calls from internal callers. We would also like a better way for our security team to be notified if someone dials 911. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"ABSOLUTELY Love it. Mostly."
4.5/5
What do you like best about Sangoma Unified Communications Platform?

For the most part, the deployment (once configured) has been very easy even for a small firm like we are with MANY different locations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sangoma Unified Communications Platform?

VM is a little clunky - often can not find a VM that was JUST listened to - and seems like the emails of same are sporadic...cant get it to send consistently. And sending a fax is very inelegant and clumsy- same with retrieving archiving etc- RingCentral seemed to have done that FAR better - and we are on the cloud-based system so are unable to implement "send from the desktop" which is a MUST in my opinion today Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
