"Storage with Many Robust Features"

What do you like best?

Oncommand Manager, CLI is great, Separating storage into separate SVMs, LIF management, native CIFS and NFS support, domain integration, the list could go on.

What do you dislike?

The Powershell SDK has an interesting feature that if you are writing a script and pass an incorrect volume/file name it reads it as a wildcard for all volumes instead of reading a null variable and failing. Not anything with the SAN itself, but with their SDK.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Get your training in. These are beasts of products, but well worth it.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We deliver high-quality storage at a very reasonable price. We are able to integrate our DR directly into our NetApp clusters and have migrated all server based file-shares to native net-app based files hares.
