Setup was straightforward, and it integrated smoothly with our Intune environment. Most importantly, it lets us lock down devices and wipe data if a device is lost or stolen, and it also helps make the device unusable to thieves. Enrolling new devices is simple: our vendor uploads them for us, and I have auto-approval enabled, so most of the time the device is already in Knox before I even receive it. Pushing out and updating device profiles is almost a one-click process. Support has been fantastic as well. We mainly use KME and KC. Pricing is very reasonable especially compared to other solutions out there and is added through our providers billing reducing additional billing to keep track of. Changes are almost instantaneous. There can be a lot of menu hopping to perform commands on a device, such as moving a device between groups. This involves going to the device itself to find its groups, then finding the device again within each group page to remove/add it. This can greatly increase the time it takes to perform administrative tasks on larger deployments.

I really like the uniformity of the console in Samsung Knox Suite; it makes everything feel consistent. The setup for MDM is super easy, which is great because I can set it up without any issues. I don't like that Samsung Knox Suite doesn't allow the ability to import your own devices into Google Zerotouch. Adding my own devices to Google Zerotouch is a bit of an issue. I really like the ease of use of Samsung Knox Suite. It is suitable for all types of Android and iOS devices and offers many useful features, such as creating custom kiosks with the apps I choose. Also, the activation of devices without the need for further manual configuration is fantastic, and I can change a device for a user without having to configure it manually. More than not working, because it always works well, there are aspects that can be improved, for example, unifying KME and KC into a single console under Knox Manage, but not so much a unification as a reporting. I mostly like Knox Manage and Knox Platform for Enterprise. Knox Manage allows me to bulk enroll and enforce security policies, manage apps, and remotely control devices, which is crucial because I manage 827 tablets. On the Knox Platform for Enterprise, it helps a lot to manage hardware and software and to isolate school files from students' personal stuff. In Knox Manage, it's hard to delete an admin with some privileges when their service ends, and the GPS data isn't accurate, which might be due to the Samsung tablets. Also, creating more content folders on the kiosk is still difficult, as it should allow for content organization by grouping different subjects for academic purposes. I really like how Samsung Knox Suite allows me to manage policies, manage devices, and search devices efficiently. It's simple to work with, has a huge amount of extras to configure when it comes to the Knox Service Plugin and is easy to integrate in 3rd party EMMs. When comparing the price it's outstanding. Samsung Knox helps me and my colleagues have a definitive and clear view of our Samsung mobile devices estate. I know it seems quite simple and basic, but I love the tagging feature, that allows us to associate a real person's name to each device. I don't think the Samsung Knox portal has ever suffered downtime during my time using the product. The system is quite user friendly too. I haven't got a chance to use any of the AI features yet though. I like the way the system reminds me when I have not changed my password for a while. I also receive an e-mail when my account is used to log into Samsung Knox. Both of these features are helpful to ensure the system is secure. The details stored against each device are very helpful, and include the phone's IMEI number, serial number, product number, model number, and submitted date. Any interactions I've had with support have been helpful. I don't look after the purchase orders for it, so I don't know how costly it is. The biggest drawback is the initial setup and onboarding. The whole initialization process feels long and tedious, and it takes a lot of patience to get everything configured correctly. On top of that, communication and responsiveness from the sales side and the vendor store were quite slow, which led to unnecessary delays before we could actually deploy the system.
