I like how easy it is to find guys when they're on the road with Samsara. I also find the safety app valuable for checking driver scores to see who's doing the right things and driving safely. Sometimes it takes far too long for a video file to be retrieved after I request it. There have been times when I request a series of videos and, even 8 hours later, it still hasn’t connected to the camera to start the upload. For time-sensitive situations, that delay is really frustrating. The audio alerts are also pretty overbearing. I understand this is a feature controlled by our administration, but I still think the sensors for things like harsh braking, lane departure, and railroad crossing violations need a lot of work, because they seem to trigger for no reason. Lastly, some of our cameras do not have the ability to live-look in despite the fact we calibrate all of our fleet to the same standard protocols, why are some able to and others don't give me that option?
