I love the ease of use that samsara provides. Not much to dislike about samsara but if I absolutely had to choose something it would be that we didn’t choose it sooner, we switched over our fleet from street smart witness camera system and the headaches are finally gone and we can sleep at night knowing everyone is safe Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Samsara is helpful in seeing which assets are nearest a particular address, when there's an issue or if a customer calls our office. I can also see when each asset left their house each day. I frequently get stuck after using "search for vehicles that were near here" after I find which asset was at an address, and then I want to see their Trip, to see when they arrived, etc...You've got to 'back-out' of that feature to return to the 'regular' mode and it's difficult without backing all the way out to 600 assets and then having to search for the 1 asset again. Best use of samsara for fleet tracking to check the location and update the broker and easy to use UI interface for users. We can use AI to generate the report and send mail to broker directly for detention. Customization can be better as of now user unable to export report as per requirement.

Video upload delay, Retrieving dash cam footage take too much time in case of accident because camera not uploading the footage directly to cloud because of this some time we are not able pull the video as per requirement Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I appreciate Samsara for its ability to help correct issues and problems with my drivers and myself. It effectively indicates when there's a problem, such as cell phone use or inattentive driving, which helps address these issues throughout the day. Additionally, the introduction and transition to Samsara were seamless, with support from the Samsara team providing the necessary tools and information to make our operations proactive and productive. I think the thing that doesn't work as well is the transitioning of the product to the driver and the driver understanding the benefit of what it can do for them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Samsara is an all in one telematics that continues to improve it's capabilities. Always innovating the software with technology and also including AI. The product is easy use and self explanatory when creating users and assets. We have multiple integrations that include GM and Holman. Our account manager is always available if we need any assitance. The app and the site run great and we can.move around with ease. I like most the UI, platform is very easy to use & it works very well for tracking assets. I tried to integrate HOS, i don't use much the AI but it seems good for the future Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I didn't find Samsara solving any problems; in fact, it created more. Their customer support is non-existent, as when you open a ticket with a concern, nobody gets back to you for over a month. I also feel like the 30-day trial is a scam because they will charge you no matter what.

Performance wise is not good, DVIRs are not acceptable in my region & there is nobody to talk to Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

At this point, we really don't have any significant complaints. The implementation process has gone smoothly, the platform has been easy to use, and the support we've received has been excellent. What I really appreciate about Samsara is that it's very helpful. It allows me to access tracking for all the trucks at one time, which is super convenient. The geological and satellite tracking is great for keeping track of everything effectively. It also assists in managing the fuel levels and consumption, which is a fantastic feature to have. One thing that would be nice is the ability to toggle between the driver’s daily log and the breadcrumb trail on the map. For example, if I have a driver using Personal Conveyance on his log, it would be helpful to switch to the map so I can see where he is, and also pull up the camera view.
