Easy interface so anyone on our team can figure out how to use it. **What do you dislike about SamCart?** would love a live chat support option for when you're building a site... otherwise have to wait long time to fix one error... also an option to add an accounting email to client's account would be nice to send copies to both - employee who purchased our product and a copy to accounting dept. also we have a product with different price points... the system makes us create a NEW product each time... can we create it once and then just have multiple price points under it? It's not super clear on how to add an additional product to a client on the back end. we've figured it out but it wasn't super logical. **Recommendations to others considering SamCart:** Easy to use, build a sales page and checkout page all in one, simple to track your billing. We loved having the capability to customize the checkout page with our own logo, description, images and design. SamCart support was incredible. Personalized support was available at any time. During a training (that was graciously abbreviated to fit my schedule) I learned invaluable tips and tricks including copying checkout templates so I only had to create a beautiful checkout experience one time! Because we are a non profit, the sales and products during this fundraiser are different than most commerce platforms. However, SamCart worked beautifully for us, because we could deliver a digital product (in our case, a link to a 'Thank You' page on our website) immediately. We sold products like "1 Month of Food" or "3 Months of Medication" or "1 Audio Bible." The reporting tools on SamCart were excellent and very helpful as we tallied up each of the items fundraised. Everyone who donated to the fundraiser did so without any trouble during the purchase and checkout process. This has NOT been the case with other platforms we have used in the past. We will Definitely be using SamCart again in the future! SamCart has a feature that allows administrators to do test purchases! With other platforms, I've had to do small, actual purchases to test out the system. Previewing the check out page is very simple; this is immensely helpful during the design and refinement process. **What do you dislike about SamCart?** Would like a shopping cart option. It was fantastic to have the ability to use order bumps, upsells, and even pay-what-you-want options! These features helped increase our fundraiser revenue immensely and alleviated the inconvenience of not having a shopping cart. **What problems is SamCart solving and how is that benefiting you?** SamCart integrates beautifully with Stripe. All funds were immediately deposited into our Stripe account with no need for a third party transfer or even batch transfer. I LOVE that SamCart has a pause plan, because we will not be running fundraisers all the time. This will likely be an annual occurrence and it's very helpful to only pay for the months we are using SamCart! This is very helpful for our church budget and allows us to use SamCart with all it's beautiful bells and whistles without the big price tag. Having all of the information for the buyer/donor on a single page helps with converting visitors to customers. They see what they need to see quickly and clearly. From cart to checkout is just 1 or 2 clicks away! Order Bumps are worth every penny!! They are customizable to the product page and are easy revenue. Customers who are already buying something are likely to purchase an easy add on. ### 3. The solution is used by client and has excellent funnels. Allows for rapid creation of solutions that fit dynamic needs and even straight forward. When your looking or a SaaS and don't have a team that wants to learn a large complex solution, this solution is perfect. **What do you dislike about SamCart?** I would like to see more integrations and for them to take place quicker. Often times this is a limitation to a platform. Although we have seen new integrations added frequently, we still want to see a much larger library. Their team has been VERY receptive to request. **Recommendations to others considering SamCart:** Simply know your journeys. The more you understand your needed outcome and path to it, the easier it is to select the right product. I think most people who work with larger SaaS like BigCommerce or Volusion or Shopify will find that this product has its place. Rather than being a product you have to build your site around, it is a solution that allows you to tack on. This is a major benefit. **What problems is SamCart solving and how is that benefiting you?** Simple straight line make a purchase funnel. It allows you to rapidly test and determine value of each step in the process. Most carts are large platforms, this one allows you to make simple creations quickly. Therefore large investments are not needed, like a SamCart. ### 4. I use it for my online course, and switching to it has helped me have more insight and more control over the last stage of the sales process--the checkout. Samcart can be used for other things (which I'll eventually probably get around to) but for the few functions (of many) I'm using it for, it's been a great tool. Well worth the price. **What do you dislike about SamCart?** So far I don't have any qualms with the software at all. Happy to be using it. There eventually will need to be a bit more options for editing the checkout page, but I'm happy with it for sure. **Recommendations to others considering SamCart:** I think that if you're a course creator, Samcart is a must. They provide great content on their YouTube channel for others as well. **What problems is SamCart solving and how is that benefiting you?** I was using teachable for everything previously--hosting my course, sending emails and accepting payment, tracking sales, etc. The SERIOUS problem with teachable that made me refuse to use it outside of hosting my course is that there was absolutely no data on how many monthly subscribers I had, what their balances were, etc. I was also not able to manually charge anyone or do anything outside of the most rigid functions of people being able to just sign up, pay on time and use the course. Samcart gives me that insight. Samcart also has a much better, customizable checkout page whereas Teachable is pretty much doing what they can to LOWER conversions. Since switching over, our conversion rates have certainly gone up. So nowadays, again, Teachable hosts my course content, while I manage sales and subscriptions, and different checkout page types and different products, price points, testing and all that through Samcart. Makes a world of a difference. ### 5. Both freedom in terms of positioning object in any position but also freedom in terms of upsell. As an example we sell a subscription with the option to choose monthly or yearly. I want our customers to go through the process and was credit card has been entered I want to give the option to sign up for a lifetime membership at a higher price instead. Meaning cancelling the monthly/annual subscription and instead just pay a one time fee. I also don't understand why the first billing cycle appear as a trial within Stripe. When using other platforms I didn't have that experience, so I wonder why it's set up like that. **What problems is SamCart solving and how is that benefiting you?** The main thing I'm currently solving with SamCart is having a checkout window specifically for our subscriptions appear on our Shopify store. There's other options available, but I like the simplicity that SamCart provides. ### 6. We started using SamCart after using Clickfunnels for several years and the difference is night and day. It's way more simple to create products, very easy to link to all of our other systems for fulfillment, and most importantly — easy to look at reports and see how our store is doing. **What do you dislike about SamCart?** Honestly your templates really suck. This is the most frustrating part because you make a big deal out of all these great templates you have and most of them are garbage — way too funnely, too big of text, too much info above the checkout section on mobile. Your templates really need work. We've only been able to find 1 legacy template that works for us. **Recommendations to others considering SamCart:** The cost of SamCart will be made back in the increase in conversion rate you'll see. **What problems is SamCart solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use SamCart as JUST the checkout page of our funnel which I love. This means that we can have these beautiful font-end pages on Webflow and then direct to SamCart for the purchase. ### 7. The automated emails for failed payments is great because it's one less task that we have to worry about keeping up with and the affiliate program is great feature to offer members of ours to share with their community and expand our reach while rewarding them. The ease of setting up checkout pages and creating specific offers for each product or service is great, it's nice to be able to integrate two cart offerings, like a monthly payment or a paid in full discount cart on the same checkout page. The bump ups are also great for increasing sales right before checkout. **What do you dislike about SamCart?** Some limitations in automations with Kajabi, we have found workarounds for these though with the help of support. I would like to see a different view for payments that fail other than the static view of all transactions, something that shows per person when their payment failed and then once they acknowledge one of the auto emails and update their payment information, and then once their payment clears. **Recommendations to others considering SamCart:** SamCart is a great addition to any online business from just starting out to looking to grow that is in need of a way to have customers pay you. Being able to setup multiple products quickly and easily how been very helpful in the growth of our business. Setting up an affiliate program has been a great benefit that we can offer to our members to reward them for sharing a membership they find value in with their friends and family. ### 8. I use these in my emails and on social media all the time and to not have them on my sales pages is super annoying. **Recommendations to others considering SamCart:** Honestly, it's far easier to use than similar products like ClickFunnels, which I find clunky. We are also able to customize it for our brand. **What do you dislike about SamCart?** We find reporting to be very limited and not always accurate. I wish they offered more reporting features. For instance if you pull reports on sales by date it is not accurate for each product. So if we wish to see the revenue generated by product, we have to pull a product sales report. The reports also do not break down individual customers. I also don't like how the subscription numbers are not clickable links on a customer record. Also, I feel they have gone the extra mile to make sure we are successful. I like the idea they do not take a percentage of our sales. We get check-ins from time-to-time and our Customer Success Manager answers our questions quickly. Example: I want to change the Headline: I go to the drag and drop editor and change it. I want to change the price: I have to go inside the product page, price, and change it. It's very visually based. **What do you dislike about SamCart?** 1) There isn't one report you can download, instead you have to download multiple reports 2) the reporting doesn't match (meaning one report says x and the other report says xxxxxxxxz) 3) it's impossible to get good customer service, and when someone responds they don't read your entire question or try to help. It's a general answer that is copied and pasted, and then your ticket is closed out. 4) when using their import feature, Samcart created THOUSANDS of new products because they didn't use the correct data mapping. **What problems is SamCart solving and how is that benefiting you?** Nothing at the moment, unfortunately. We are still waiting for them to unscramble the data that was imported so we can use the platform correctly.
