Salvo is time and attendance software for organisations whose field staff work at changing job sites. The app on the employee's phone uses geofencing to record when they arrive at a defined job site and when they leave. The employee does not have to fill in or press anything. No route and no location history is stored; precise positions stay on the device. Employees see and correct their own day. The hours flow through an API into the project or business software the customer already uses. Salvo does not replace that software. The system is designed so that a works council can say yes to it. The employer is the data controller, Salvo is the processor. Rollout is phased: define job sites, run a test group, then extend. Less suited where hours are billed through to clients, where the vehicle is the unit of work, and for office staff. The app runs on iOS and Android.
