  ### 1. SALUS has increased our employee safety participation and performance significantly.

**What do you like best about SALUS?**

As a Safety Director I get "Real Time" access to employees completion of every safety process and form along with the signature of the crew / site leader and all the employees on the crew / site that particpated in the safety process; EVERY DAY! No more chasing paper with never really getting the real results way too late to do anything about it. 
During trainings that are completed for employees on a safety policy, procedure or process there is a document created for the training that each employee signs on SALUS upon the training completion. This document remains on their SALUS app for them to review in detail any time they want and it is stored on  SALUS by employee, with signature, for administrators to have documented on what trainings each employee has completed.
Also the ability of SALUS to sort and report completion and signatures of forms by employee and by site and for specific time periods allows us to export the results weekly (or for any period) and send to the employees / sites so they see how they are performing in comparison to the standards required and the other employees / sites. We also use these results to reward the best performers.
I could go on and on.........

**What do you dislike about SALUS?**

This is a hard question because I am using all my available time using everything that works in SALUS for our company prioritized by what will drive better safety performance and results by our employees and implementing these processes first.
If I had to "dislike" something I would say having more opportunities to track annd report on documents as forms are tracked would be helpful.

**What problems is SALUS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solved the problem of Managers knowing that their crews / sites, along with all the employees on the site, have completed important safety processes. It is benefitting us by having a more knowledgable and safe site that will perform with less or no incidents and injuries due to the repetitive safety reminders on safe practices.

**What do you like best about SALUS?**

I love that I can see everything that is going on within our company across all of the provinces that we operate in.  We have many branches and sites and this helps us see what is going on with our workers in the field and where our strengths and weaknesses are.  We can address safety documentation issues right away.  In the event of incidences, we are immediately notified and can follow up with our investigation.  Our supervisors have the certifications of all of their workers at their fingertips.  We can link clients with worker qualifications and safety documents and it is very easy to tailor all of the information to exactly what the client would like to see.

**What do you dislike about SALUS?**

Some devices do not support the app well.  There are some communication problems between the desktop and mobile versions.  Some features are only available on mobile and some only on desktop but it would be very useful to have access to all of that.  Since we operate with 10 branches and 4 provinces, it is extremely inconvenient that we STILL cannot do company wide searches and need to search each branch individually.  Small glitches have yet to be resolved and some problems support will not even consider.  There seems to be a slowdown of support from when we first started using the program vs now.  When things are fixed or features are added, we are not notified.

**Recommendations to others considering SALUS:**

Be prepared to do the footwork!  I spend 40+ hours a week on SalusPro.  I maintain all profiles, certificates, form submissions, training, and support.  Salus gives us a product, but you need to figure out how it will best work for your organization.  Digitizing forms is an amazing thing, but going from paper to digital doesn't always appear the way you would hope.  There may be some tweaking to perfect what you want, but it is well worth the effort.  SalusPro support team is there to help whenever you need it.  We took Salus and really tailored it to work for our company, so we did need to create our own how to's.

**What problems is SALUS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SalusPro has allowed us to close the gap on communication between the field and office.  We see issues nearly immediately and can address that as they arise.  There is less of an opportunity for workers to slack on safety paperwork as we are able to monitor all field documents closely.  We have been lucky enough to have Salus through a WCB investigation which has good results as all of the related documents were readily available and quick to pull.  I would also really like the ability to change passwords as requested.  Not all users are tech savy so it would be nice to be able to help those that are not able / willing to help themselves.

**What do you like best about SALUS?**

Salus is helping us streamline our Health and Safety Management System so that we can be more hands on with our site visits, and less hands on with administrative workload. We feel this is the key ingredient for our H&S Departments success. Salus does this by ensuring that our Workers, Supers, etc. can easily fill out forms in a simple, straightforward and accessible manner.

**What do you dislike about SALUS?**

The Asset management side of SALUS is lacking a little bit, and the inability to share assets between subcontractors and GCs is forcing us to duplicate assets between Subcontractors and GC groups. Additionally, the compliance module sections are lacking in customizable options. The construction site is a dynamic and ever-changing environment and our compliance modules would benefit from being able to be customized and more in-depth for that changing dynamic.

**What problems is SALUS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SALUS is allowing us to streamline and create a bit more accountability across the required H&S documentation needed from jobsites. With paper models it is common for jobsites to fill out forms all on a friday prior to hand in. We are now able to hold those jobsites accountable for daily, weekly and as-required forms by being able to create compliance modules (statistics.) which we need to be able to provide for COR.

**What do you like best about SALUS?**

The SALUS application is simple enough that anyone could learn to use it which is very convenient when working in a non-tech savy industry.  Being able to see, review and provide feedback on documentation in real-time allows for us to always be ahead when it comes to our documentation.  Reviewing and auditing our safety management program has never been easier, at a glance we know our compliance and where we need to improve!

**What do you dislike about SALUS?**

With any application or platform, there are going to be issues and technical problems that arise. Though sometimes it can be frustrating to work through in a fast-paced environment, SALUS's customer support and technical support team is quick to help solve any issues as soon as they arise.

**What problems is SALUS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SALUS has automated some key components of safety management such as filing, categorizing and organizing all documentation submitted through the program which is time-consuming to do manually. This gives the safety department more time to develop and improve different areas of our safety department and focus on hazard and risk controls. Which has been beneficial to the growth of our safety department.

**What do you like best about SALUS?**

The ability to customize the forms to suit our needs. The app platform for staff is very helpful. The desktop version is very user friendly. We are a foresty based industry and this was the closest app out there to customize for our industry.

**What do you dislike about SALUS?**

Our current need is to have another level of admin that has an option that only owners can access. But still gives the safety managers ability to edit forms and see forms except for those forms that can only be seen by owners.

**Recommendations to others considering SALUS:**

Salus is a great tool that we are using for our Forestry Consulting business for our Safe Certification with the BC Forest Safety Council.  The online platform is a great way to keep all our safety forms in one location and easy to use for all staff. The ability to find forms from a certain job site it very helpful.

Training records: having the ability to access staff training records quickly and efficiently.

**What do you like best about SALUS?**

We really like hoe easy it is to use Salus. The training went very smoothly. Their staff is so easy to deal with and it was really easy to train our staff on this system.

**What do you dislike about SALUS?**

We cannot say anything negative about Salus. We really love everything about it. If we ever have any issues or need help with anything they are so easy to contact and so quick to respond.

**Recommendations to others considering SALUS:**

My advice is that if you are questioning if you should get this for your company - the answer is yes. It has made health and safety at our company so easy to track and keep organized. And most importantly, it is helping us continue high standards for the health and safety for all of our staff and our business.

Health and safety documents are all housed in one place. Easy to pull any past safety document needed at any point. We can create forms as we need. This system has helped keep our health and safety documents very organized!

**What do you like best about SALUS?**

Easy to show all of our employees how to use, and very user friendly.  Forms are easily customizable and can be adjusted and adapted to meet different needs of specific sites.

**What do you dislike about SALUS?**

Some employees have expressed concerns about data usage, but this is not supported by documentation.  Other than a small number of holdouts, we have had no problem getting everyone to take part.

**What problems is SALUS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lost documentation is a thing of the past.  Demonstrating compliance across the field for our yearly safety audits are easy and efficient.  We have seen a major decrease in wasted time chasing after paperwork.

**What do you like best about SALUS?**

The ease of use and connectivity making it easier for our team to use and simplify the multitude of forms that they must fill out in a day. Additionally, this allows us to store more related information in one place without added administrative work being required.

**What do you dislike about SALUS?**

The app is great in terms of the filling out of forms. However, it would be fantastic is the app was also geared a little bit more towards the asset component of the software as well as it feels like a inconvenient extra at this time.

We would highly recommend this software to anyone who is safety certified and required to perform annual audits as it stores, sorts and condenses all your information that is required. The user face is simple, the concept is great and this can be a key piece of software for many industries I imagine - very versatile.

We are ensuring that we are monitoring and receiving all our safety forms through SALUS at this time - we are early in the process. Still, we foresee great success in the tracking, accountability, and additional features in this software.

The best part is that worker engagement and participation has gone way up. Workers are using forms, managers are reviewing the forms and reports sent in from site and it's happening in real time.

**What do you dislike about SALUS?**

I'm still quite new to the platform so I haven't found much that I would call a dislike. Auto refresh would be nice so when forms are approved they change to completed automatically.

**Recommendations to others considering SALUS:**

Look to how you can apply Salus to areas other than safety. We are able to lean on Salus to help with other aspects of our operations and it's very helpful.

**What problems is SALUS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We struggled to get workers to complete forms and we typically wouldn't see any paperwork come in until the job was completed. Really seeing the benefits of the daily work reports being submitted in real time and with photos. We can see what got done, what didn't, any issues, etc.

The customer support that you get is quick, they are knowledgable and friendly. The app is easy to use, training is provided and extremely user friendly. They also provide training videos to watch at your own pace.

I would like to be able to export more files and be able to adjust assets for what we are looking for but not major dislike just being picky if I had to choose anything.

**What do you like best about SALUS?**

The saving of files in the Salus Pro system is excellent. In our Construction division, we have had over 30,000 forms submitted and saved, which saves a lot of time scanning and filing paperwork. Fewer paper copies are needed to haul around the job site. The compliance module is great to see who is doing their paperwork and who is not.

**What do you dislike about SALUS?**

Sometimes there are some constraints of filtering. We are adding certificates to employees right now, and there is an issue with sorting employees by the manager. It would be nice to add a level of filter based on a division or manager of an employee to decipher who needs to be booking training for specific individuals.

It would be great to add this, and perhaps it will be in the new roles feature.

**Recommendations to others considering SALUS:**

Take your time in setting it up, and make sure you show the field staff some of the benefits of filling out forms digitally. The text-to-speech in smartphones has been a big seller for people to fill out their paperwork.

**What problems is SALUS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We notice that managers and senior leaders are following up with more incidents now that they get copies instantly. It has allowed for our managers to pull up incidents in meetings and attempt o correct issues quicker now that they receive webhooks on all incidents.

**What do you like best about SALUS?**

SALUS PRO  has improved our health and Safety data recording, collection, and storage. It is very advanced and great for overall tracking and collection, There is no other company I have tried.

**What do you dislike about SALUS?**

Sometimes they release a new version which can be a bit buggy and troublesome. We then have to contact the customer rep, which is a process. However, the issues are resolvable.

**Recommendations to others considering SALUS:**

Learn and pay attention during the rollout process as this software has so much to offer, and you may miss out on a lot of helpful information. Always reach out for help because they will always help you out.

**What do you like best about SALUS?**

Digital access to monitor workers FLHRA's helps a lot. Ease of form use and digital storage for workers. Although a bit slow to add features, it's usually due to big changes, rewrites and development that is consistently happening.  Being able to fire off snippets to our account leader and quick help responses is awesome.

**What do you dislike about SALUS?**

Reports and Incident tracking need help. Connection can be an issue sometimes but we have been discussing that.

**What problems is SALUS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't have to gather paperwork constantly at site anymore. It was often in bad condition by the time I got it. Handwriting was poor and I could only really monitor once a week. Now I can look at any time. I also don't have to store FLHRA's in boxes that take up room.

**What do you like best about SALUS?**

The customer service is exceptional. Training sessions are offered regularly, as the program is continuously being improved.
I have not had any experience with competitors at this time.

**What do you dislike about SALUS?**

The updates keep kicking workers out, causing some confusion. Perhaps implement a notification for when updates are occurring. 
Things that could be improved on: more in-depth training: having the primary contact create a form and receive feedback.
Have suggestions for new forms to be created, for example, a fall protection form as a guide.

**What problems is SALUS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating forms for workers to complete with ease. Ensuring our safety protocols are being acknowledged and being adhered to. Keeping things organized and supplying an automatic log of forms for reference.

**What do you like best about SALUS?**

I enjoy the asset feature where I can track all of my equipment, vehicle, fire, and other inspections. I'm alerted when there is a  deficiency, and the photos are a huge help too.

**What do you dislike about SALUS?**

There is no way, in the incident feature where I can search for specific trades. This would help trend tracking and future KPI use.

Workflow optimization at it's best! Quick to learn and customizable - effective in the feild and at the Admin level.

Nothing worth noting or that isn't alreay being improved upon. General limitations of internet/wifi. Must have quality hardware etc.

Real time data sharing with the client increases confidence. Having clearance data on hand and immediately available is key, this can encompass individual tickets for workers etc. Live links and detailed reports solve this. The ability to select and email multiple Forms at once is one specific obstical that was resolved very quickly for us and has proven to be a valuable function as well. 
Giving workers the ability to upload their own tickets has also increased our compliance with less time invested. A win for all involved. Currently working on the notification system which automatically emails to specified address when a ticket is coming up on expiry. Very helpful!

Have you ever gotten a new phone, and felt lost using it?  It takes some time to get used to it; You know it has a ton of features and there are probably more you aren't even aware of? It was frustrating at first, but once you're used to it, you wonder how you made due with the previous model. Then you discover another new feature and are amazed again! Now imagine if there was a customer support person from the phone manufacturer that was specifically assigned to help you 24/7 as you got used to using that phone, and could show you all its features. 
Now what if it didn't have a feature you wanted, but you could suggest it to your personal customer success rep?
That's what SalusPro is like. You're going to wonder why you didn't switch over to digital sooner, and how could you ever live without their customer support team.

You know when your parents get a new electronic device and they call you to troubleshoot what should be very simple problems? Now imagine doing that with 50 people. That's what its like introducing a digital product to a team of construction field workers who are used to doing everything 'the way its always been done' on paper. 
The transition wasn't easy. I know, I've done it with not one, but three employers. But the SalusPro team is there to help you field those calls and questions. They live up to the title "Customer Success Representative".

Let's be honest, there are lots of digital safety management programs and form building software on the market. But first, you aren't that tech savvy to be building these forms, and second, who honestly has that kind of time? We hire experts to do specific jobs because we want it done right, and at the right price. 
The team at SalusPro are the experts in Safety Management Software, and you're not going to end up with surprise costs. 

Rather, you'll be surprised how much you are saving. We calculated what we spend on printing safety forms for the field, and not accounting for lost, damaged or unused copies, we saved an estimated $7,000. That doesn't include printing SDS, drawings, safety notices, copies of the OHS manual etc. Just the forms. 

Savings in time is even greater. The monthly safety report I put together for corporate used to take me 2-3 days to go through hard copies of documentation. With Salus, it takes me a few hours to filter the documents, download the reports and put together the report.

For the companies still using hard copy reports an online system will eleiminate paper gathering  and safety coordinators can then concentrate more on site safety functions. At first administration needs to concentrate and enforce compliance of filing all required reports - the site guys will eventually start to realize the advantages to online reporting. For those that don't you should consider whether they should remain with your organization. The company Safety Culture MUST constantly evolve.

The main issue being addressed with a web based platform is having reports completed on line and once submitted directing them to the people that need them immediately  No one needs to pick up or deliver paper reports.

**What do you like best about SALUS?**

The app is super easy to use and the support team is amazing. They have customized our forms and have gone over and above to our expectations. 


**What do you dislike about SALUS?**

I wish the price could be less but I am cheap and still think that is a great deal for your dollar

**Recommendations to others considering SALUS:**

This will be the Best thing you have even done to organize your safety program. It also stores everyone's certifications, so you can easily see when tickets are expiring. 

**What problems is SALUS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to keep all of our paperwork organized and stored on their cloud, which makes it easier to maintain our COR certification and its been saving us a lot of money on printing.  They went over and beyond and helped us customize a Work Order form for our service department that is cutting our invoicing time to clients by a week! Its been AMAZING!

Easy for field staff to grasp the basics.
Web based for easy access.
Fast replies for support requests.

**What do you dislike about SALUS?**

Will not work on older Android (7.0 confirmed problematic).
Cannot edit own forms (but told that will be changing late 2019)



**What problems is SALUS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Site staff is now completing required safety forms, and Safety staff are not relegated to moving and storing paper.

We like how easy it is to navigate and eliminating the paperwork for the staff is awesome.!

We haven’t experienced any downside to this product yet.

Toolbox talks are easier and quicker. 
The staff are on task sooner and it ensures that everyone is completing the necessary forms

**What do you like best about SALUS?**

All of the possible costumiseable features are awesome, the app is very simple to use and has a highly professional look and feel to it . The team behind the app are by far the best feature, quick turn around, always there to help and improve our forms and features and they even come to us to teach some of our workers how to use the app. 

**What do you dislike about SALUS?**

So far , I do not dislike any features of the app.

We run our entire business paper work, inspections, reports, orientations, time log, pre trip inspections and more, at the reach of the finger tips.
