We use Saltmine to visualize office space for our clients. - Their drag-and-drop system and WASD keyboard navigation makes UI simple (albeit with a day of learning the platform, similar to any new software). - We can create a BOM (Bill of Materials) to track all furniture within the floorplan, which is hugely helpful to quickly determine what furniture is within the space. - Best of all, we can also create pre-made "virtual walkthroughs" that easily guide our clients through their space. After the client logs in to Saltmine, all they have to do is press the spacebar to be toured of their space! This is an invaluable tool that reminds me of residential home tours, but brought to the complex world of commercial real estate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Saltmine? The quality of the renderings is good, but wish it could be even stronger. I'm sure this will get better with time. What problems is Saltmine solving and how is that benefiting you? It is critical for our clients to visualize the design and furniture of their space before they move in. Visualization tools like Saltmine make the process more immersive. It is also great that this platform is all cloud-based, so any updates can be made in real time.
